terrific location to end the busy day in Asheville, in Biltmore Park. Rebecca was a terrific waitress and took our drink orders quickly. Seafood cannelloni was superior, huge portions. Daughters had tomato basil soup and lobster ravoli. VERY easy to fill up on the fresh baked bread. Both manager and hostesses checked in as well. Great staff, super food. A great meal

OMG, this place was expensive and for very scant portions. The food can only be described as mediocre, nothing bad, but nothing spectacular either. We did take out and it was still very expensive. For $25, I just thought I would have gotten more than one side. The 2 loaves of bread was good good, and the restaurant appeared to have good atmosphere.

Had dinner here with my girlfriends as the beginning of our bachelorette outing. Our waitress was Katie Kilpatrick and she was AMAZING, she was funny and sweet. Had no problems taking our pictures and splitting up our check so we each paid for our meal and a portion of the brides. The food was great and the restaurant nice but comfortable! I will bring other groups in the future!

Troubled by some less than favorable Trip Advisor reviews, we were reluctant to try this restaurant but convenience to our hotel won out, and thankfully so. The restaurant was beautifully appointed with large glassed openings into the immaculate kitchen. We started with fried zucchini. It was fresh, perfectly breaded and fried, but not greasy. We had veal piccata and veal scaloppine. The veal was pounded thin, fresh tasting and tender. The piccata sauce was lemon tart with capers. The scaloppine had artichoke hearts, mushrooms and crispy pancetta. Both entrees were served with pasta and fresh baked bread. Sorry we did not have time to return.

At some point, we should have just gotten up and left. The kitchen was having a very bad night: they ran out of pizza dough at 7:30 pm; they served us frozen bread; they ran out of grilled vegetables, but didn't tell us until we had finished our entrees; the creme brûlée was not brulee'd and was instead inedible, salty vanilla pudding.

However, the food we did receive -- veal marsala, a chicken pasta -- was quite good. And, the managers did their best to make up for the terrible, horrible, very bad evening -- our meal was comp'd. Would I go back? No. There are other places to eat in the area.
