The Biltmore Estate constructed in the late 1800's is the largest home in the United States with over a 135,000 square feet. The home and grounds are magnificent to tour. However, we were pleasantly surprised that the adjacent stables have been transformed into a restaurant.! We had lunch in this unique space which utilized the former stalls making them into booths and added tables in the center space. The luncheon fare is very good with an assortment of soups, sandwiches, salads and burgers as well as wine and beer. Fun place to say you dined at the Biltmore!
