“Good option before a show”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 May 2014

Finally made it to Storm because we had plans to catch a show at the Orange Peel later. Cool decor, fairly small restaurant. Our service was good, but not fantastic. Our food was really great, but not life changing. Lots of local meats/veggies, and prices were reasonable--$20-25. Drinks were $10ish, and there are a lot of options. Tons of rum options as well, which is a pretty unique thing. Our dessert brownie was not that great--pretty dry and hard--I'm hoping that's what they were going for. Would eat here again, and it's a great spot, but there are better places to be found in the AVL area.

Food was awesome. Cheese plate was perfect. Great ambiance, friendly waitress. Highly recommend if you're in Asheville!

“good for friends”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 May 2014

We had a reservation for two tables and were seated at the appointed time.

The menu has many interesting choices and ingredients I had no familiarity. Our server, Drew, was patient and explained everything. For starters, our table had boiled peanuts which were excellent and liver pate. Both were very good. I had the organic chicken dish with bacon jam. Unusual combination of flavors, but very tasty.

“Love the atmosphere here!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 May 2014

My friend & I stopped by here after a rough night in Asheville & emerged feeling so much better. The Mai Tai is like a Godsend & the late night bites (can't even remember what we had!) are tasty & reasonably priced. Can't wait to return!

“Good but not as exciting as the menu would indicate.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2014 via mobile

Not bad, but out of a party of 8, not one meal rated an outstanding. We were excited reading the menu but most things fell short in the taste category. Try pappardelle with nettle pesto...hello? There was no pesto. It was nettles cooked like spinach and the whole thing was bland. The gnocchi was very good, the best of the lot. Burger? Bland. The rum selection is great and the drinks outstanding, so i would for drinks, not food.
