Wonderful service, luxury, views, this hotel has it all! It is the place to stay especially if you can stay 2-3 days. Lots to see and do.
We spent 3 nights in this beautiful hotel and from the moment we drove onto the grounds you can tell you are in a special place. Our room, a "grand king" was charming with corner views overlooking the estate. There are many locations in the hotel to just sit and enjoy the scenery, inside and out.
The staff is excellent. Kudos to the training and hiring departments of the Biltmore. The bellman was very helpful and most every member of the staff seemed sincere.
We decided to do a Segway Tour of the estate.......2.5 hours. Not as easy as it looks, but worth the effort. The instructor, Suzanne, was terrific. We were well trained before we all took off across the property.
Has dinner one night in the dining room. Excellent staff, only one suggestion, that they would include a starch with the scallop dinner. It was good, but for the price, a starch or vegtable could be included.
Hope to return sometime soon.....the house and gardens are a must see too!More
