“Unparalleled Blue Ridge Mountain setting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 November 2010

Staying at this hotel definitely enhances the "Biltmore experience," as one feels completely immersed in the estate. The employees exhibit exceptional hospitality skills and guests truly are made to feel welcome. This is a wonderful retreat where one can participate in a myriad of activities or simply relax in the unparalled Blue Ridge Mountain setting.

I cannont say enough how much we enjoyed our stay at the Inn, right from our arrival, to the magnificent meals we ate both at the Bistro and in the Inn dining room. The waitstaff should be commended on their excellent service, and knowledge of the product coming out of the kitchens and wine cellars. Also for the gracious way we were relocated on request one morning. The behind the scenes tour of the house was really interesting especially if you have interest in construction. Also it is an interesting aside that most of the staff we questioned had worked at the Inn for a long time- really nice change from most tourist hotels (backpackers who dont give a damn). The rooms were nicely done, and somewhat larger than rooms for the same price we have stayed in elsewhere (NYC, Hong Kong, London) Oh and Walter at the stables is a really nice laid back horse too :)

Stayed here for a conference and brought my family. Lots to do on the grounds- excellent service from every single person we encountered. Food was top-quality. And the views are phenomenal. Expensive but worth it for the unassuming elegance and service. Comparing to a recent trip, Inn on Biltmore Estate beats The Homestead on every level- hands down!

Everything about my stay at the Biltmore Inn was fantastic - the room was comfortable and elegant, the food was outstanding, the customer service was impeccable, and the view of the surrounding mountains was breathtaking.

This place is very nice. I've stayed here three times. The first time...I'm not joking...I had something (some wierd feeling) that was pressing down on me while sleeping. It scared the crap out of me. I had to get up and turn all the lights on and make sure that nobody was in the room. I've never had that feeling before or since then. The other two times were without merit. This hotel is nice if you don't want to drive while you are visiting, as they have a shuttle to all estate places. It is overpriced. I paid $8.00 for a glass of wine in the lobby. You will pay thirteen dollars for a side salad. If you'd like a good lunch make sure to visit the Chelsea tea house in Biltmore village. The stable cafe at Biltmore Estate is also nice for lunch. The gift shops are pretty overpriced. If money isn't an object, then stay at The Inn. Otherwise I would stay just outside the gates near Biltmore Village. There were plenty of hotels there.

Very nice hotel, nice room, great service, good views, good food but not worth the $300/night. A great place if you can afford it but I will stay elsewhere on the next trip.

I thought the Inn was ok, but not worth the money. Beautiful location. Didn't think the service was 4 star. Small room.
