“Excellent food and service”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

Fixed price menu with 3, 5 or 7 choices. The app plates are wonderful flavors, but very small. We chose 3 and did okay, but my husband ate a lot of the delicious breads, too. I think he would have been happier with 5. It is expensive! I miss the old menu, but was glad I got to try some of the new dishes. My husband said his Diver Scallops were the best he has had. Service is great! Waiter is attentive and professional.

“Exquisite Dining”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

We dined at the Dining Room at Biltmore Estates for our 36th anniversary. It was one of the most wonderful dining experiences in our lives. The atmosphere was excellent, service awesome, and food wonderful. For dessert I had the blackberry hazelnut tort. It actually had a gold plated hazelhut on top. Totally awesome. Very much recommended.

Very nice tasting menu. Chef quite creative in technique and flavors created. Beautiful view of the countryside from our table.

“Wonderful Hotel Dining Room”
Reviewed 20 May 2014

While staying at the Inn at the Biltmore Estate we have eaten here both for dinner and also our breakfasts.
The dining room is located on the lower level with some amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the window seats are the prime location.
For breakfast you have a choice of menu options or a full buffet in the price of your package. The breakfast is very good. The buffet carries some southern favorites like grits and country bacon. There is an egg station which allows you to order your eggs just the way you like them.
The wait staff is very good. They are attentive and friendly and keep those coffee cups filled!
I liked our dinner here as well. It's a little more formal. I had the baked asparagus to start with a poached egg on top. It was fresh and delicious. I then had the steak and lobster tail (surf and turf). It was good, although a little average in presentation and taste. I felt the lobster tail was on the small side. My husband had pork and found it to be a little dry.
We did tell the management that the pork seemed dry and they were kind enough to take the entree off the final bill and were very apologetic.
We did think the final bill even with the subtracted entree was pretty pricey.

“Best Of the Best”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

The Dining Room at the Biltmore Inn is a most pleasant surprise, not because of its fine food, but because it is in a hotel setting like no other.

With a table overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains in a most civilized setting, the DR is a stunner.

The chef is an Iron Chef winner so that fells you a little bit of how good he is in the kitchen.

We dined here twice during our stay and were in heaven both times. Appreciating fine food was rewarded both nights with the Lemon Soufflé for dessert, which sent our taste buds into a blissful state.

This is a pricey venue for special occasions, but worth saving up for to experience all it has to offer. Service is exemplary.
