Owed by the owners of White Duck Taco, this is a most authentic pizza. We went this weekend and both adults and children give this "thumbs up" The salads and pizza toppings were tops. The pizza crust is thin and soft and is exactly what you find in Naples Italy. Wines are good and reasonably priced along with some local beers.for desert we had the cannolis and gelato. Both excellent. Not fancy, just very good. Service and attention were excellent.

Three of us including one local Ashevillian foodie at here and we all loved it. The ingredients and style make their pizza unique. And the service was casual but professional. Prices were good. Easy to recommend!

This place try's to be an Antico, Pepes, etc. but misses the mark in terms of prep, toppings, price, and most important taste. If the price of a pie was reasonable then it would be an ok place for high pizza; but at top dollar you expect top pizza and get so much less.

This is a follow-up of an earlier review where I was a bit concerned about the texture of the pizza.

In retrospect, after reading about what Neopolitan pizza is supposed to be, this restaurant makes an excellent Neopolitan pizza.

The service is fast, and pizza is like none other, certainly none other in Asheville. I do have a preference for the white pizzas, and I've had them all. The only one I'm not crazy about is the one with figs and that's just because I don't really like the slight sweetness of the fig (even though I love figs, just not on pizza).

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a busy Saturday. Although the space is small, it feels spacious, and because of fast and efficient service, the table turnover is quick without diners feeling rushed. We shared several choices and all portions were generous enough to do so. The fresh arugula salad was lightly dressed with a tangy vinaigrette which perfectly complemented the orange sections, beet and roasted pistachios that are part of it. Our red pizza was half Italian meats and half vegetarian, and both were very good. The chewy yeasty crust was especially delicious--a real carb craver's delight and although soft, it was thoroughly cooked. Our finish--the cappuccino crunch gelato was superb--rich, creamy and almost as satisfying as ice cream. Menu selections are not extensive with enough variety to make for a satisfying and healthful simple meal. The only complaint is that the tomato sauce is quite hot which tends to overwhelm the rich tomato flavor of the fresh ingredients.
