We were traveling on motorcycles and after a long ride we decided to stay in our room and order take out. Thanks to the front desk who highly recommended Woody's. So, pizza was ordered fresh mushroom, tomatoes and banana peppers with a large salad and blue cheese dressing. I do believe their blue cheese dressing was home made it was excellent! We were not disappointed with any of it. Hot, fresh and friendly delivery and a little surprise with the garlic rolls that apparently come with the salad! Wish we lived near here since our area has a lot of crappy pizza joints and I would love to have tried some of their other menu items.

Love their pizza and calzones. Also have had their eggplant and pasta dish which is excellent. Their calamari is finely fried and perfect with simply lemon. Much better than the old Eddy Spaghetti.

The place is very clean and the servers are friendly, prompt, and courteous.

A great addition to South Asheville.

We enjoyed some Eggplant Parmesan and Ziti with marinara. Nice simple thick marinara and delightful eggplant. The servers are very nice. This is a 'mom and pop' type of place; not fancy at all but clean and good. The salad is just okay but the rolls are worth the stop!

Went for lunch there at recommendation of friends who had eaten at Eddies Spaghetti.
Was not impressed with the quality of the Philly Cheese Sandwich. It was served on a cold sub sandwich, with some ground up meat and a sprinkle of some type of cheese sauce. Nothing else.
If you go, stick to pizza as that seemed like the popular item.

My boyfriend is from Pennsylvania and is always disappointed with NC pizza. He was SO excited when we found this place! He said it tasted "just like home!" It was great! I would highly recommend to anyone!
