Selection on the menu was a pleasant surprise. Food tasted very good. Service was excellent. Asheville is proclaimed as the Beer Capitol because of the number and quality of the micro-breweries. Tasted a flight of beer and was quite pleased with the quality.

While staying at the Grove Park Inn for our Anniversary getaway, we enjoyed dining with a view on our last evening here. Hostess found us the perfect table outdoors and with the fireplace and heaters, it didn't matter that it had rained all day and was chilly and damp. Our server, Mike, was great and we loved chatting with him. Drinks were enjoyable and food was yummy. Be sure to order the Grilled Cheese with the Tomato Soup dipping sauce - not sure how they get the bread so light and crispy and the cheese perfectly melted. We split that and then each had a chopped Salad, which we loved, with the White Balsamic dressing vs. the Ranch. Will be back for sure!!

Went here with the wife twice: once for lunch, and once for drinks/dessert. We were already staying at the Grove Park Inn, so lunch was an easy option one day before heading out to the Blue Ridge Pkwy. The food was very good (I had the chickpea stew, and the wife had the BLT), and accessible to vegetarians. Wanted to come back for their incredible looking starter/small plate menu. They have a quite good craft beer/local beer selection. Nice-looking cocktail menu, and my wife loves their giant, rich hot chocolate. But, the best part about this place is the incredible views that you enjoy while sitting outside under either fans or heaters (depending upon the weather), and look out over the surrounding valley and beautiful mountains! Would definitely come back here, given the opportunity, but service was just okay…

Thank Matt M
