If you have gone to the Estate without visiting the Garden, you miss the gem. The varieties of plants and flowers are plentiful and well kept, a must see also.

I was here when the tulips and azaleas were in full bloom. I just got a new membership and look forward to going at least once a month to see whats blooming. Gorgeous gardens and love bringing my dogs with me to enjoy them. My pictures of the Wisteria in bloom I had to use as my profile picture. You must see.

I wonder how many gardeners are occupied maintaining all of that estate - driving in and out there are a number of miles of roads traversed, and then there are the wonderful gardens and the large Conservatory (essentially multiple indoor greenhouses.) It'll take a couple of hours to walk through everything and enjoy it all. And now (this summer) there are the Chihuly sculptures/installations - it's worth seeing them during the day and also at night.

Didn’t realize there was a separate review for the gardens. They were really enjoyable and the greenhouses were fascinating with the types and volumes. Even someone who isn’t “gardener” (I am not) will find plenty to enjoy and appreciate. A lot of walking involved and many sets of stairs. Wear comfortable shoes.

Immaculate gardens with wide gravel paths. Chihuli glass exhibit until October was exquisite. Beautiful coordination of colors.
