“Great Hotel, Great Setting”
Reviewed 3 May 2014

Stayed here several times. Always impressed with the service, cleanliness, efficiency. But it is the setting the overwhelms everything. It is a different world, and a different place, from anything else in Asheville, except maybe Biltmore itself.

Room Tip: there is a variety of rooms and views. Worth spending up for a mountain view with a balcony.

Just got back from Asheville and four nights at the Biltmore Village Inn. This is a beautiful old mansion that was built by Vanderbilt's lawyer. The decor is beautiful Victorian and the home is well maintained. Very clean. We stayed in the Penthouse suite in the converted attic and enjoyed the homey feel and privacy. The inn staff (Spencer and Monica) are great and made us feel special. The 9:00 breakfast each morning is two delicious courses. We loved meeting all the guests and hearing their stories. This inn is tucked up on the hill over Biltmore Village and close to the entrance of the estate. Don't be put off by the unkempt homes on the way up the hill, once you get to the inn you're in paradise. The view from the gazebo is fantastic. I would highly recommend this inn and I would certainly stay there again.

Everything about this trip was amazing. We were greeted by the staff upon our arrival and from that moment we were treated like family. After a quick tour of the Inn we were shown to our room (the honeymoon cabin). We sat down in the dining room afterwards for some snacks and chatted with the other guests also staying that weekend. When the staff heard we were talking about the Biltmore Estate they asked if everyone had tickets, and after learning that my wife and I did not have any, quickly scrounged up two of the "family and friends package" tickets for us! Not only were the breakfasts expertly cooked and prepared, they were extremely delicious. We were also pleasantly surprised when our couple's massage was able to be rescheduled for Sunday morning instead of Saturday to accommodate our trip to the Biltmore Estate. I don't believe a single thing went wrong the entire weekend. An exceptional stay for us first time bed and breakfasters and surely not our last at this wonderful establishment.

My wife Sarah and I stayed here for our honey moon. We stayed in the wingate room which was very very nice. House and rooms were super clean. When we arrived we greeted by Monica who was absolutely amazing. She gave us a tour, told us the history of the house and recommended places for us to eat. She was extremely accommodating the whole time we were there. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. The food looked like something out of a magazine and it tasted even better than it looked. They also had wine cheese and crackers every evening. I cant say enough good things about this place. It is in walking distance of biltmore village and only a seconds drive from the entrance of the biltmore estate. We will definitely stay there again. Thanks again to Monica for all of her great recommendations and assistance during our stay.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Biltmore Village Inn to celebrate our wedding anniversary and visit the Biltmore Estate. If we had to sum up our stay at this bed and breakfast in one word, that word would be “perfect.”

We immediately felt right at home when we arrived and absolutely loved staying in the Penthouse Suite. It was just as we expected, based on the pictures and description on the Inn's website. On our first evening, we took a quick tour of the house and especially enjoyed looking through the extensive selection of DVD’s. If you are a movie buff, then you will probably want to spend some time perusing the shelves of movies.

The breakfast each morning was exquisitely delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed the creative menu options and complimented the chef on both the presentation and flavor of the food. It was just enough food to make you feel full, but not so much that you felt sluggish and in need of a nap afterwards.

Monica and Spencer were awesome! They were very personable and very attentive to our questions and requests. They even booked a dinner reservation for us at a fabulous restaurant- this was an unexpected but much-appreciated gesture.

The exterior of Biltmore Village Inn is well maintained and provides a great view of the mountains. Being able to see the mountains was definitely an added bonus and made for some very nice photo ops.

The close proximity of this B&B to the Biltmore Estate was very convenient- just a few minutes’ drive.

All in all, we were extremely pleased with our stay at Biltmore Village Inn and plan to stay here the next time we visit Asheville.

My Son and his Bride had their wedding at The Biltmore Village Inn. The Inn easily accomodated the entire wedding party. The staff of this B&B are the most friendly and gracious hosts we have ever run into in all our travels over the years. They consistently performed over and above the call of duty. The wedding setting was prepared with the utmost attention to detail, and they accommodated every minor crisis which invariably accompany all weddings. Nothing could be added to this Inn to improve on its comfort, friendliness, or feeling of luxury. The breakfasts at the Inn were delicious, and presented beautifully.
Extending a most sincere Thank You.

My wife and I choose Asheville, NC as our honeymoon destination because of the beauty of the mountains and the relaxing atmosphere. The B&B made sure we stayed relaxed, from the moment we arrived we laid out on the hammock with a glass of wine and relaxed and took in the beautiful mountain scenery. Then they showed us to our honeymoon suit with a cozy queen size bed, fireplace, and a heart shaped jacuzzi. As we walked in our room there were chocolate covered strawberries and wine waiting on us. Every morning there was a delicious inventive new dish prepared for us in the dinning hall, where we would sit and talk with the other guests about their vacation and their experiences in Asheville. Everyday around 4pm we would meet in the dining area and have wine and cheese and once again get to socialize with the other guests. Monica was so helpful with everything we asked and even made us dinner reservations. This is a place that we will always remember and will revisit over and over to celebrate our marriage. Thanks so much for the hospitality and the romantic getaway. Hope to be back Very Soon!!!!
