Found on internet search for a weekend getaway. The hospitality and service at the Biltmore Villige Inn far exceeded our expectations.

Summary: BIltmore Village Inn is highly recommended for a romantic getaway for adults, excellent rooms and service. Bringing children is probably not a good idea.

We stayed in the Reed Room at the Biltmore Village Inn over a weekend for our 22nd wedding anniversary. The inn is a large restored Victorian-era house, just a few minutes from biltmore village and the Biltmore estate entrance, and a few more from downtown Asheville. The location is quiet and relaxed.

On arrival we were greeted by Bob, our host (and also one of the partners). Bob is very hospitable and friendly, and can make suggestions for dining if you need them. He can be busy at times, so I'd suggest timing requests for help for when he can focus on them.

The room we stayed in, the Reed room, is on the ground floor and was both beautiful and comfortable. The decor was a mixture of antiques, and newer pieces that managed to fit the period well. There was a working fireplace in the room, plus another in the huge bathroom. The bathroom had a large 2-person whirlpool tub, plus a shower and normal amenities. The bedroom also had a new LCD TV and a DVD player. For HD aficionados, this seemed to be set up as standard definition, (composite video cables instead of HDMI), but had a clear picture, and was still much better than most B&Bs that we have stayed at.

Breakfast was a group affair at 9am at a long dining table (there were also a couple of small tables for people wanting privacy but we preferred the group dynamic at the main table). The food was generally very good, consisting of several courses that tended to veer away from the traditional fare. Bob & his cook seemed to like trying new dishes and listened to feedback on each. Personally, I found it an exciting change from the mundane.

The Inn also has a wine & cheese gathering late-afternoon each day that is worth attending if your schedule allows for it; people gathered in the parlor to discuss the day's events. Suggestion for improvement to Bob: the cheese knife went missing both days, suggest adding more. On Saturday there was a special entertainment in the afternoon, an excellent tribal belly dance and accordion team that we thoroughly enjoyed in the parlor.

There is also a 24x7 access group "mini pantry" with coffee/tea making, ice, water and cookies, which was a nice touch.

Finally, we took advantage of a package that includes a couples massage/spa treatment at the nearby village. This worked out well and is recommended if you like messages/spa treatments.

Stunning! Staying here for our 1st Anniversary was the perfect choice! We stayed in the executive cottage out back of the main house, and man we're we pampered. Spacious and beautiful! The softess sheets, bed, robes, shower perfect for 2 ! The main house was gorgeous as well, so cozy with all the fireplaces. And the breakfast every morning was exceptional as well as the wine and cheese every afternoon. Bob really out does himself to make sure your experience is unforgettable! The package we did include in room dual 60 minute massages, wow , soo loved this! (Thanks Kristen) And did I mention we had a beautiful snow fall the day we arrived that was gorgeous! We'll definitely be back.

Our experience at the Biltmore Village Inn was perfect! Bob is such a wonderful host, we felt as if we were staying with family! From the moment we arrived, Bob took great care of us; greeted us with mimosas, made dinner reservations, gave a tour of the house, got us tickets to the Biltmore House, etc. The accomodations are top of the line, food was delicious, entertainment was nice...couldn't ask for more! We didn't even go out Saturday night because we were having such a good time hanging out at the house with Bob and the other guests! I highly recommend visiting the Biltmore Village Inn...we will definitely be returning soon!!

Me and my wife came to Biltmore Village Inn first in August 2008 on our honeymoon. We have stayed at Biltmore Village Inn ever since. It is the most incredible bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. The staff is the greatest an accomodation could have. We are planning on going back in February 2010. If ever need a place to stay in Asheville "Biltmore Village Inn" Bed and Breakfast is the place. Jim & Tiffany

We spent a long mother and daughters weekend at this beautifully furnished inn for the Martin Luther King holiday. Every detail of our stay was taken care of. We enjoyed mimosas upon arrival, received a wonderful tour of all the elegant rooms and suites and then our gracious host Bob reviewed our weekend plans with us and handled most of the details for us (Biltmore tickets and information, dinner reservations, advice on things to do and see). Our Biltmore Suite was absolutely stunning with beautiful furnishings, fireplaces, flat screen TV, elegant bathroom and yummy robes for each of us. We had 3-course breakfasts each morning, wine and cheese each evening and wonderfully fun entertainment on Saturday night. Even though we spent time at the inn, everything was scheduled so that we could pursue our own interests and activities as well. Bob was a most delightful host ensuring that all the guests interacted merrily. I think it speaks volumes that our multi-generational group all enjoyed ourselves and said we would definitely come back for another stay either together or with our spouses. I had visited Asheville many times before, but this was far and away THE BEST stay. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a girls weekend or serenity for the soul, this is the place to stay. It has it all and more!
