We stayed at the Inn for the first time a few weeks ago--first time in Asheville too. I wanted to surprise my wife with a long overdue getaway that needed to be perfect. The reviews of most other inns and hotels were frustratingly mixed. Not being familiar with Asheville, I didn't want to take the chance of being disappointed, so I set my price point a little higher and found the Biltmore Village Inn, where the reviews were consistently positive. After staying the weekend, I now know why.

If you like the Bed and Breakfast ideal, you'll love this Inn; you don't stay in a room so much as you stay in an Inn. With such a welcoming atmosphere, a terrific 3-course breakfast and wine and cheese in the afternoon, you can't help but relax and enjoy this beautiful house, its staff and fellow guests. Bob, the Innkeeper, was generous with his time and his wine. While pouring a glass, he'd make recommendations on a few restaurants in town (based on your preferences) and then call in the reservation for you. Franky Bones was a great choice for us. The Inn itself is well-furnished with antiques and wonderful paintings; I'm sure there's a story behind each item that Bob--who reminds me a little of Garrison Kiellor--can tell you about.

Suffice it to say that, even though this was our first time in Asheville, we have no desire to try any place else. Maybe after half a dozen more stays at BVI we'll consider it, but why take a chance?

We love to stay at different Bed and Breakfasts. This one was just wonderful. The rooms are beautiful with the same charm as the actual Biltmore Estate. The staff went out of their way to make it a wonderful stay and the food was out of this world. We can't wait to return. If you are visiting Asheville this is a great place to stay.

Biltmore Village Inn is the perfect place to stay for any special occasion or just a quiet weekend get-away. Our room was decorated with a comfortable elegance -from the beautiful furnishings to the glowing fireplaces in our room and bath. The three course breakfast was delicious each day of our visit. We can't say enough to express how much we enjoyed staying at this bed and breakfast. We can say we recommend it to anyone who enjoys comfortable, beautiful surroundings, great food and wine, and extremely helpful host(s).

Bob is the consummate host! We were greeted Friday afternoon with cheese, crackers, fresh fruit and a mimosa (or wine of your choice). Bob will be happy to make your dinner reservations however, Mark and I had been in the car all day so we ordered a pizza delivered and had some dinner with Bob in the comfort of the most beautiful surroundings; a historical, decorated to period, Victorian home. Breakfast each morning is a three course masterpiece in the main diningroom with the other guests (or for your privacy in your room or on the wrap around porch). By the end of the weekend we felt as if we were leaving Family. Bob dorp me aline after you drink the bottle of Dogwood and we will be back soon. A most relaxing weekend. PS: Did I mention the most comfortable beds with silky soft linens and fuzzy robe to lounge around in? A truly delightful experience.

It is well appointed, welcoming, and very well situated. The owner and manager are very helpful and friendly. We especially enjoyed the wine and cheese hour upon our arrival as it allowed us to relax after a long day of driving. The room amenities are excellent.
