We have been eating at Circle in the Square for about 10 years. It recently sold to a young man who graduated from UNC Asheville, and I believe worked at the restaurant. I am happy to say that the quality of product is every bit as good as it was before. Plus, I believe when it was Circle in the Square they would stop answering the phone about 30 minutes before they closed so you could only walk-in and place an order instead of being able to call-in. That is not the case now. The employees are all very friendly and cordial, the place is clean. Only downside is that they do not have their beer and wine license-still waiting, but it will be here soon. I would highly recommend Grand Central, especially to those who enjoy New York style pizza. If you are looking for gourmet flatbread pizza, there are good places in Asheville to get that, but this is very traditional and scrumptious.
