We stayed at the motor court because we like kitschy places. These cabins are rustic (built in the 1940s) and come without any frills, which is what we wanted.
The service was excellent, from the person who took the phone reservation to the woman who greeted us warmly upon arrival.
The Hillbilly cabin had its own small bathroom and shower, a coffee maker, a TV and the lovely fireplace—everything we needed for a cozy, comfy night. We also liked the small porch with rocking chairs where we sipped our morning coffee.
The best thing was the great price and falling asleep by the warm fire. The only drawback was the small size and that the cabin leaned a bit, which made me dizzy.
