A group of ladies spent a long weekend at Willow Winds. We had a great time. Jessie's Magnolia had everything we needed. The views were beautiful & the staff was wonderful. We couldn't have had a better time shopping & relaxing. We'll definitely be back to this great place. Thanks so much.

Really glad that you and your friends had a great "girls getaway. Magnolia is such a great place to stay and a great place to return to after a day of shopping in Asheville. Come back to see us again soon.

We absolutely loved Willow Winds. We stayed with our almost four year and almost two year old children. They loved the cabins, the playgrounds, the game room (all the games are free), the water balloon station. My husband and I loved the cabin and the grounds. We stayed one night in Don's Den, a three bedroom and another night in Tracey's Twin, a two bedroom. Both cabins were beautiful, clean and very well stocked. The fall colors were fabulous. The staff gave us coupons and excellent suggestions on where to dine. Loved the Corner Cafe and The Green Sage. We can't wait to return to Willow Winds and would highly recommend to anyone.

Thanks so much for your comments regarding your stay at Willow Winds. We are glad that the family enjoyed our many outside activities. The balloon station is always a big hit with the children, as well as the outdoor chess set.

We look forward to your next visit and again thanks for your comments.

The beauty that abounds the gracious grounds of Willow Winds was stunning. I felt as if I was in a heavenly dream, at least one that was new to me. Though rustic, and still with all the conveniences of home, Kaitlin's cabin was set into the forest of plenty. Fully grown, fully leaved magnificent trees surrounded every window. I felt as if I was in the middle of a picture postcard. One I didn't want to leave.

The staff was generous in answering all my questions, and did so with a warm heart and welcoming smile.

Warmly,
Oceana Taicher/San Francisco

Room Tip: All were in a great location, Quietness and views prevailed.

We stayed in the "Gracie's Willow" cabin. It was a 2-story cabin - the main floor had a full kitchen, dining area, living room (with fireplace and HD television), 1/2-bathroom, and patio (patio had 2 rocking chairs and patio table w/ 4 chairs, and an electric grill). The lower floor had the 1 bedroom (w/ King-size Bed), full bathroom, washer/dryer (in small closet), and a large covered patio (patio had a large hot tub!!! and patio furniture to relax on).

The cabin was very clean, spacious, and everything that you need is supplied to you...towels, cleaning supplies, firewood, etc. There is Wi-Fi, and they deliver a USA Today newspaper and replenish firewood and firestarters daily. Willow Winds also has a hiking trail that leads to the Sea-Mountain hiking trail. Even though there are several cabins on the location, the cabins are spaced out enough that you have privacy. The staff was very nice and informative when we asked for recommendations on things to do.

The cabins give you the feel of being far out of town, but, in actuality, the cabins are only a 5-10 minute drive from the Biltmore House and Blue Ridge Parkway, 10-15 minute drive from Downtown Asheville and 15 minute drive from the Asheville regional Airport.

The scenery was incredible, and we had such a pleasant trip by just grilling on the patio and sitting on the deck in the rocking chairs and just enjoying nature. After hiking each day, it was always nice to come back to the cabin at night to enjoy soaking in the hot tub and making a fire in the fireplace.

I think our week at Willow Winds cabins is better than what we would have experienced in a regular hotel. It was the first cabin that I have ever rented for a vacation, and I would definitely come back! We could not have asked for a better place to visit.

Room Tip: Gracie's Willow is a great cabin.
