Overall great experience. Very friendly staff. Clean up to date rooms, nice walking trails, the cabin had everything we needed for our stay , all kitchen appliances, all bath supplies. We lived our stay here I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a nice quiet get away but just minutes from downtown Asheville.

Had a wonderful family vacation at Willow Winds with my husband, daughter, son-in-law, and two granddaughters. Stayed at Don's Den and the kids had the downstairs rooms and we took the main floor bedroom which gave us all our privacy but allowed us to be together at the same time. We had a "girls day out" and toured the Biltmore (so convenient to get tickets at the main office) and the men stayed and enjoyed a day of fishing at the stocked pond. We also visited downtown Asheville and then came back to our cabin and grilled hamburgers. The youngest granddaughter (who is 4) loved the play area and swings and it was so nice to walk around and explore this beautiful property. Got a good deal with the winter rate (also loved having a real fire in the fireplace) and would love to go back again. Loved Cin Tom's Custard shop just a few miles away.

We love Asheville and love Willow Winds! We were married there in 2007 and stayed in these cabins then and again in 2014 for our second honeymoon. They have renovated since 2007 but have lost none of their charm! It's only a short drive to all the cool restaurants, downtown and attractions. We wanted a big fire place, cozy bed, nice view & happy staff. Someplace less sterile than a hotel, but with the comforts of home. We got it all and a hot tub to boot! Will go back again & again!

Spent the weekend here with friends for a girls weekend. Everything was fabulous. Could not have asked for a better place. The view was awesome. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. Free wifi, satellite, a hot tub. What more could 4 moms want with no kids around? It was a quick drive to downtoen Asheville and the Biltmore. Would definitely stay here again and would refer it to others.

Found this fabulous place during a Google search for a cabin in Asheville. We got a great deal on the winter rate, & quite enjoyed the cold weather, as the snow was beautiful... then we warmed ourselves with the fireplace in our cabin! Thoroughly enjoyed the local grounds, which are lovely & inviting! Had a nice hike on the Mountain to Sea trail which adjoins the property. Upper & lower porches/decks provided secluded enjoyment, though it was a bit too chilly to use the hot tub. The gaming area had miniature basketball, air hockey, ping pong, & shuffleboard. There were so many things to enjoy that we fell short of time to sit & relax in the gazebo. Perhaps next time...

This is a great place if you want to feel like you are in the middle of the woods but still want to be close enough to town. My husband and I stayed at Andrew's Cabin which is a one bedroom 1 1/2 bath in Cherry Blossom Way. We were lucky enough to see the property covered in snow which was beautiful. Our cabin was very private and cozy. The cabin had high ceilings and numerous windows which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful scenery around us. We enjoyed the fireplace and the cabin has all the amenities you could need. The balcony overlooked countless trees and a small fountain. It was very peaceful. The property itself lends to hiking and exploring. The office contains movies, books, and games. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are several playgrounds for the children. This is a place that would be great for all - families, groups of friends, or couples. We especially loved that we were a 5 minute drive from the Biltmore Village and a 10 minute drive from downtown. We will definitely return.

Can't express how much I love these cabins. This is our second time coming to Willow Winds, and we will continue to recommend to our friends (who have thanked us, and also stayed here!) and continue to stay here whenever we're in Asheville. The cabins are clean, they have all the amenities you require (pots and pans/whatnot), hot tub is also clean and WONDERFUL for a cold evening and some relaxation, they have a ton of new movies you can pick up at the check in for spending an evening in and relaxing by the fire, and most importantly, the staff/owners/managers are all WONDERFUL. I have had both pleasant and not experiences in my travels throughout the US and Willow Winds staff is just amazing. Always smiling, super pleasant and helpful for local advice (directions and recommendations for parks/recreation), and if there is a problem at the cabin, they are quick to respond. I just love it here. Quiet, relaxing, pleasant and unobtrusive staff make me give Willow Winds two thumbs up. The beds are also pretty amazing, too. Slept like a baby. Thanks again for the wonderful visit, and for making my romantic weekend getaway that much better.

Room Tip: Trout trail has a stock pond for the fishing aficionados. I recommend the pine's.
