On our first night in Asheville after a very long journey we wanted somewhere reliable, informal, serving good basic food; our Inn recommended Cornerstone.
Turned out perfect call. Good friendly service, wide choice on menu, very good prices. I chose stuffed cabbage (minced beef and rice) served with broccoli, mash and gravy and it was delicious and comforting as it sounds. My wife had chicken salad which she enjoyed very much. The helpings are enormous and they have good choice of beers to wash them down.
We actually returned another evening when we only were looking for appetizers/salad and again enjoyed a very decent meal. The chicken tortilla wraps were packed and very tasty and again huge portions.
If you are looking for good selection, great prices and friendly welcome and service, this place is worth a try.

This restaurant is family owned and they are all about service and hospitality. You are welcomed from the moment you walk in. The food was fresh and very tasty. Ben was our waiter and he was terrific. Great place to eat in Asheville, NC

Had a bowl of clam chowder soup and a large Greek salad with blackened chicken...it was awesome....everything I saw looked very good. It reminded me of many of the very good Greek restaurants in the Chicago area....look forward to going back again.

Friendly, helpful wait staff and a wide-ranging menu make this restaurant a very acceptable choice. Our food was attractively presented and at very decent prices. We would definitely eat here again when visiting Asheville.

A little pricey for sandwiches (lunchtime). Have had better. Great location to the Biltmore Estate and historic village shopping.
