“Fabulous hospitality”
Reviewed 12 July 2007

From the moment we stepped through the door we felt pampered! The Inn is in a residential historic area of Asheville, 5 mins drive from the town centre. The garden is beautiful, with lots of shrubs and plants and from our bedroom we could hear the soothing waterfall. Coffee on the veranda started the day, followed by a sumptious three course breakfast - amazing food, but defeated me every day! We enjoyed the single sitting for breakfast, as we met lots of interesting people. The attention to the food and the service was outstanding. Gary and Heather made some really helpful suggestions about what to do and where to eat, as well as directions on how to get there, but they were not intrusive or pushy. We had a really relaxing stay here, and would definitely return, there's so much more to do, and we know we would be well looked after in a beautiful setting.

We came to get away and spend some time together; we accomplished our mission and were still holding hands when we left a week later. When we arrived at the beautifully decorated home, the welcoming staff and attention to detail made us feel like they were there just for us! The quiet surroundings allowed us the rest and relaxation we searched for. On Monday morning of our week long stay, the rose placed in the window for us was framed by the light dusting of snow that fell outside our window. It was like a living painting and will never be forgotten.

Each breakfast was an exploration of culinary delights. We awoke each morning wondering what delicious fruit and muffin combo would precede the main course, which was always a fabulous treat. Thank you Patti, Gary and Heather for making our first of many Thanksgivings together so completely memorable.

Your attention to detail in making sure we go where we needed to be, making our reservations and handling our ticket purchases to most of our outings make our stay even more relaxing. Massages, tickets to the Biltmore, reservations at local restaurants, limo reservations, directions and maps, horseback riding……..

Next time we are in the area, we will certainly be staying with you and will recommend your Inn and the Natural Mystic room to our friends. Thank you for such a memorable trip…many happy returns!

We triple loved the place. Centrally located, beautifully attended to and comfortably stayed in. Our host cooked a beautiful candlelit breakfast every morning and also tended to vegetarian needs. We highly recommend.

If you are looking for a great place to stay in Asheville, NC-Cumberland Falls Bed & Breakfast is THE PLACE!! My husband and I stayed there this weekend and we would never think of staying anywhere else if we were in Asheville. Not only did we receive wonderful service and assistance with Patti & Gary, the innkeepers, to us when registering; but Vinnie-the chef made exquisite 3 course gourmet breakfasts' that left you full when you were done but not too much over the top that you couldn't get out and walk into downtown--oh yeah, I forgot to mention--the house is just a few minutes away from downtown. Then, there was Heather, who assisted us in finding every local hotspot that appealed to our wants and needs not just the local tourists stops and general "to do's"; along with directions, reservations, etc. Lastly, this was all encompassed in the most beautiful location in Asheville, NC with gardens and waterfalls in the backyard for those who want to just linger around the property! I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did--Jason & Laura

This place was great! The breakfasts were excellent, our room was cozy. This bed and breakfast was a great homebase to do lots of exploring in the Asheville area. The hosts were friendly and hospitable. Gary made awesome dinner reservations for us while we were on the run one day. I highly recommend this B&B.

We knew as we drove up that the inn would be wonderful, with the attention to details surrounding the property and the wonderful landscaping. The inn's concierge was so willing to talk with us and let us know all the fun details of Asheville. She was wonderful. It was my birthday and they had wonderful desserts waiting for us when we arrived. The fresh flower arrangements were also beautiful and the room we stayed in was amazing, antiques and a fireplace with a jacuzzi, magnificent! The wonderful breakfast in the morning was served with humor and warmth and was perfect. We enjoyed talking with all of the other guests and would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to any travellers. The inn keepers were great and hearing their story on how they got started adds to the personal touches that surround the whole experience. Thank you!
