The hospitality, ambience, wonderfully attentive staff, and "to die for" breakfast never disappoint! If you are traveling to the Asheville area, this is the place you stay. Christmas decorations were absolutely beautiful. This is my second stay at Reynolds Mansion. I am a frequent traveler and cannot think of anywhere else I would stay in this area. Lots of "repeat" guests in the cadre of folks staying this time.

Billy and Mike did such great work renovating this mansion. The place is inviting and so cozy! Beds are very comfortable. Let's not forget to mention the wonderful breakfast served in different china every day, what a treat! We were there in December. It was a bit cold to enjoy the large porch but we took advantage of the library and all the Christmas decorations. Nothing better on a cold day to relax in the library with a glass of wine, a good book and a fire in the fireplace. The staff is very nice and attentive. Wonderful experience, will go back!

Room Tip: All rooms have their own private full bathroom.

The Reynolds Mansion is a fantastic place. I would give 10 stars if it was possible. My wife and I just returned from a wonderful and relaxing 4 day visit there with our great friends Herb and Julie. It was our second visit and Herb and Julie’s first. We enjoyed breakfast every morning and were always excited to find what delicious surprise we would be served. In the evenings we enjoyed sipping wine beside a warm fireplace in the parlor or library while reading or chatting. Billy was not feeling well and we didn’t see too much of him after the first day. However, Mike did a fantastic job as our wonderful host. Marti and Jim are terrific staff who made our stay fantastic as well. The mansion is so welcoming and warm it would be very hard not to thoroughly enjoy a visit at anytime of year. We will be planning another visit very soon and will once again look forward to seeing Billy and Mike along with the rest of their fabulous staff. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Billy hoping he feels better very soon.

Best regards,

Dan & Kelly

Spent a nice long weekend at Reynolds Mansion. Billy and the staff are very attentive. The mansion is warm and inviting. Really enjoyed the history and the stories. Billy is very knowledgable about the family history and provides a very respectful and colorful insight into the past. Breakfast was wonderful. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Billy provides great recommendations for local eateries and is spot on. Wait till you get here to make restaurant reservations. Looking forward to coming back.

Our two night, but too short, stay in Asheville at the Reynolds Mansion was the highlight or our recent Country Roads trip. The mansion is a complete delight and Billy is a more-than-gracious, generous, and entertaining host
The Reynolds Mansion reflects the passion and energy that he and Michael have poured into it.
It was warmly decorated for Christmas with charm in every corner. The mansion has been a labor of love and that is evidenced everywhere from inviting porches to lovely rooms to parlors brimming with history to the beautiful dining room.
We stayed in the Hydrangea Room in the Carriage House. The large room couldn't be more
welcoming, comfortable, or tranquil
Billy makes perfect suggestions for making the most of one's time in Asheville. From unique
restaurants to interesting galleries, to not-to-be-missed spots, his tips were appreciated.
Don't miss breakfast at The Reynolds Mansion. Billy's stories are the best. They are magical!
Many thanks to him and his crew!

We loved our stay at The Reynolds Mansion. We really enjoyed speaking with Billy every morning. Our stay was really enriched by his stories regarding the history of the Reynolds family, their famous friends, and the house. Billy is a wonderful, fun and caring host. I highly recommend The Reynolds Mansion.

We had very high expectations as the reviews for this place were some of the best I had seen for any B&B. We agree with everything that has been written for this fine establishment. On our next visit (yes there will be another visit) we will stay in the house - this time we stayed in the carriage house and it was very nice but after getting a chance to see the rooms inside the mansion we want to stay there next time. I am particularly interested in staying in the Maggie’s room. The house is absolutely beautiful and we were made to feel so welcome by Billy and his staff. The breakfast was probably the best we ever had and listening to Billy talk about the history of the house and the things that he has seen and heard from other guests made our trip. When you go be sure to ask Billy to show you the photos of the manision prior to the renovations. It will amaze you how this historic home has been brought back to life.
