We met Billy several months ago as we began planning our wedding in Asheville. We visited 8 venues but immediately knew that Reynolds was the perfect place. The Inn is of course a beautiful setting, full of charm, warmth and atmosphere. When that is added to Billy and Michael’s dedication to making everything perfect and surpassing our expectations, “Thank you” is just not enough. A wedding, particularly one that is planned at a distant location, has many details to manage. These guys got every detail right and took care of things we didn’t even think about!

Sixteen of our wedding guests joined us in staying at the mansion. It was perfect in everyway. Every person has offered only praise for the hospitality of the owners and staff, each being made to feel more a member of the family than a guest of this wonderful place. Reynolds is truly a return to a time past and missed; a return to gentile times and true southern hospitality.

As soon as you enter the mansion you are captured in the charm and feel the comfort. Accommodations are first class in everyway, period authentic decor but providing every convenience. The food is also wonderful. Billy begins preparing breakfast about 6am and the smell of the bacon and fresh baked goods fills the house. Served at 9am, no one needs be called; they are waiting in the parlor or library drawn to a two course meal, served with the style and grace of southern tradition.

If you are thinking of an Asheville wedding, you must inquire at Reynolds and hope they can accommodate your needs and create memories to last a lifetime.

Any trip to Asheville would be made better, by using Reynolds for a base of operations. We hope to return soon but we are sure this place will soon be on many people’s perfect Bed and Breakfast list.

Dianne and I cannot thank you enough.

We had a wonderful stay at The Reynolds Mansion.....the food, hospitality, and ambiance were perfect. My husband and I travelled with our two dogs and The Reynolds House was able to accomodate us in their Carriage House behind the Main House. The Carriage House, like the Main House was beautifully furnished and spotless! Biily and his staff were friendly and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Every morning, breakfast was delicious and elegantly served. On the last day, when we had to depart before breakfast was served, Billy surprised us with a wonderful southern breakfast to go!

The house is amazing! And the Innkeepers have not left a detail out.! Staff is warm and friendly and are happy to share what they love about Asheville. Lovely antique furnishings throughout the mansion. And take their advice and go eat at the Stoney Knob Cafe', they have amazing food. The mansion is very clean and access to Downtown Asheville is so simple.

It was Tom's birthday weekend and Billy (innkeeper) was kind enough to make delicious cupcakes for all the guests and delivered Tom's to him with a candle after our delicious breakfast. That made us both feel special that he was willing to go out of his way to make our experience more memorable.

Thanks Billy and Mike....Tom and I will be back very soon!

If you love history and love gracious living this is the place for you! You will be surrounded by memorabilia of yesteryears to help you escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and actually relax. The hosts are there for you, but, not intrusive. They have intriguing stories to tell of the history of the house and its family members, though, if you care to listen. We did and enjoyed every minute of it. Truly a unique experience that bids us to come again, slow down, learn a little and smell the roses!

We arrived while the snow was coming down, and was really excited to see the mansion from the Interstate. It was a little tricky trying to get up the mansion but well worth the couple of wrong turns. Billy greeted us upon our arrival and put us at ease right away. Since our reservation we ended up getting a free upgrade because of a cancellation. The house was just wonderful, warm and friendly. Our room was located on the 2nd floor with a great view. We were there to help celebrate the wedding of my brother and his fiance. We went out together Fri evening to a wonderful italian resturant at Billy's suggestion. Wow, one of the best italian resturants I've eaten at. On Sat the wedding and meal at the Mansion was orchestrated by Billy and he did a wonderful job. The meal was elegant and successfully satisfied the taste buds of all 20 guests. The breakfasts each morning was also very very good, with the staff and Billy and Michael very attentive to all our needs. I would definately recommend the Reynolds mansion to anyone wanting a very wonderful B& B.

Looking for a beautiful B&B in Asheville?? Pick the Reynolds Mansion. The only reason we were staying there is for the wedding of two great friends and now it has become a place that we will return to when visiting Asheville. You couldn't ask for two more accommodating hosts than Billy and Mike. The food was excellent and the rooms are warm and cozy. We didn't feel like guests, we felt like we came to visit friends in their home.
