We enjoyed having the Wishing Tree as our home base as we explored the Asheville area. This lovely cabin is tucked away in the woods for a feeling of quiet retreat. Yet it is a short drive to go out and enjoy the arts and restaurants of Asheville, tour the amazing Biltmore estate and hike in a national forest.
The booking and directions went smoothly. The cabin has all that is needed for a sweet retreat!
We had a wonderful stay at Wishing Tree and hope to return in the future. The cabin feels secluded and the area is very quiet, yet it is only about 15 minutes from downtown Asheville. The owners have definitely taken great care of this little gem; the cabin was in immaculate condition, very clean, very cozy, and stocked with absolutely everything you could think of needing during your stay. Thank you Rebecca and Wann for providing such a wonderful spot to stay on our vacation!
No complaints. Close to downtown and other locations. Cabin was clean. Nicely decorated. Asheville is fun.
This cabin was everything we were looking for. We truly felt at home away from home. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything we could have ever needed. The decor was comfy while eclectic, and the foliage surrounding was breathtaking. The location was within 15 minutes of all of the Asheville destinations which were on our radar. We were able to bring our dogs which was a must for us. Rebecca was an absolute jewel, welcoming us with a tour of her bee yard. The feel was quite private, yet we introduced ourselves and enjoyed visiting with residents nearby who were welcoming and very interesting. The cabin was immaculate. We will return to this gem in the future.
I rented the Wishing Tree Cabin as a birthday present for my oldest daughter. She and her younger sister stayed there for a weekend in March. They loved the cabin, and said it was very cute and clean. They loved the proximity to downtown Asheville, but also wanted the rustic, mountainous feel of a cabin. Rebecca, the owner, was very accommodating and friendly. My daughters had a wonderful time hanging in the cabin, and feeling the stress melt away! The area around the cabin was also very pretty, and my daughters had no trouble finding it with the directions given by Rebecca.
I decided to take my fiancé and son on a surprise visit to Ashville..so researched vacation rentals nearby. I'm so glad I chose this one because we weren't disappointed. It was clean, cozy and had everything we needed to cook/bake over the weekend. My dog Bella also enjoyed the cabin very much, inside and out. She didn't want to leave. Neither did we!..The hostess was very sweet. I was glad to meet her and her little dog. We also enjoyed visiting her little bee yard. We plan on making a return visit this summer :)
The cabin was clean, full of cool art, and welcoming.
The fireplace kept the entire cabin warm on a chilly night.
The kitchen was well equipped, so we not only enjoyed coffee and local Asheville baked goods I. The morning, but cooked dinners and enjoyed romantic meals together.
You feel like you're tucked far away, while up in the cabin but you are quite close to downtown Asheville.
Friendly owner, who met us and let us in when we arrived, clearly takes great care of this little gem.
