Week vacation in Asheville with my family of four. Booked two rooms. Very accommodating to provide us with adjoining rooms. Found the rooms to be spacious, clean, comfortable. Loved having ice machine on our floor. Ample towels in spacious bathroom. The location is great to downtown. We left our car at the hotel and walked.

This is a terrific place to stay We went to a concert at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium and it was 3 blocks away. The room was spacious and we upgraded to a one bedroom, which made it feel like an apartment. Roof top bar has wonderful views of the mountains. Food is available through out the night. Will definitely stay here again!

This hotel is what we’ve become accustomed to a Hyatt property being in most respects. Comfy beds, clean and modernistic feel without unnecessary frills in decor (that simply add to the cleaning responsibilities of staff without actually getting a thorough look into). Spacious rooms too. And within easy walking distance to downtown. So far so good. But what really made it a five star experience for us was the attention given to our breakfast needs by a lady server (Kylie, I believe her name is, I could be getting the spelling wrong). Of her own accord, she made sure we had veggies for breakfast as there were no vegan options available to us in the buffet. Thanks very much.

This hotel was very nice and within walking distance of downtown Asheville. I don't like paying for parking at a hotel, but it is understandable here with the great proximity to downtown. However, that also makes you want to leave your vehicle and walk instead of paying again in town. The hotel itself is very nice and conveniently located. I would definitely stay here again.

My daughter and I spent 3 nights at the Hyatt Place downtown. From the moment we were greeted by the valets until the moment we pulled out of the parking lot to leave, we were welcomed by everyone on the staff. The valets were helpful and cordial. They always waited for me to get into the car and then closed the door for me, telling us to have a great day. The front desk, especially, Deonte and Jordan, were very friendly and helpful. They also multi-task as they are responsible for check-in, check-out, making drinks at the adjacent lobby bar, getting food ready for guests ordering from them and answering the phones. This is all done with a great attitude. The housekeeping, maintenance and the employees working the breakfast room, always spoke to us and asked us how our stay was going. The hotel itself is clean and modern. Anything you could need. They also have a rooftop bar, The Montfort, that has amazing views of the mountains and the sunset. They serve great appetizers and small plates. I highly recommend this hotel an will book it when I return to Asheville the next time.
