The house, staff, and amenities were all spectacular. Situated on a bit of a hill overlooking the western mountain range, the Beaufort House Inn was a nice oasis; close enough to downtown to access all the hot spots (~20 min. walk), and far enough away to provide a little peace and serenity. (We highly recommend viewing the sunset from the porch swing.) The owners and staff were great, and the breakfast was truly spectacular. Plus you can have free reign of the beverages and snacks at all hours, which helps sate that midnight chocolate cookie craving. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Oak Terrace Room, which was great because it's part of the main house but with its own entrance off the side of the house. An added bonus is that it's beneath the kitchen and doesn't get any overhead foot traffic until morning.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful romantic evening in the Savannah Cottage. We were met by Stephanie who checked us in and gave us a tour of the historic home before settling us in to our room. Our room was very cozy with a gas fireplace and Jacuzzi tub. We enjoyed a delicious 2-course breakfast and were able to chat with the owner's, Chris & Jim before heading for home. It was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it. My only regret is that it isn't spring. I would love to come back when everything around the Inn is in bloom.

Room Tip: The Savannah Cottage is the biggest room in the Inn and is very romantic, especially for orch a honeymoon or anniversary. There is also a small sittiing area in the room as well as a small porch off the back to enjoy the outdoors.

What a great place to stay in Asheville, NC while visiting the Biltmore Estate. Each morning we were served an excellent two course breakfast and every evening at 5:00 wine was served in the living room, allowing us to mingle and meet other guests. Coffee, water, and tea were always available and the staff were friendly and accomodating to all our needs. Most important were the exceptionally clean rooms and wonderful atmosphere. If we're ever in the area again, we will surely revisit the Beaufort House Inn.

My wife and I have been considering relocating to Asheville. Jim & Chris, as well as Erica and Stephanie were absolutely wonderful hosts. The room was awesome and the breakfasts were superb. The entire staff was very helpful directing us to local attractions and restaurants. I would highly recommend Beaufort House to anyone looking for a first rate bed and breakfast! We will almost certainly be back in the near future.

Room Tip: Our room had a jacuzzi and a great firepace

We just spent our wedding weekend at the Beaufort House Inn and it was fantastic! Jim and Chris are wonderful hosts and Erica and Stephanie provided valuable, fun info while we were there. Our breakfasts were top notch each day as was the conversation around the table. We're already looking forward to our return visit!

Room Tip: We stayed in The Savannah room and we did not hear a sound the entire weekend. This is a great location to walk both to downtown and to The Grove Park Inn
