The owners and staff were extremely pleasant and provided us with the type of vacation we needed. All of their recommendations on local dining and things to do were fantastic, which made our stay even more memorable. We loved the gourmet breakfasts and the evening happy hour. The grounds are kept in beautiful condition. They are located convenient to downtown and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We loved how peaceful this place is and we can't wait to go back!!!

My wife and I stayed at The Beaufort House Inn twice now and it gets better everytime. We spent our 1 year anniversary here and then came back 6 months later to experience it again. Jim and Chris treated us like royalty and the breakfast's were delicious. Asheville has so many great things to offer and staying at The Beaufort House Inn allowed us to be right in the center of it all while still offering a quaint and quiet place to come back to and relax. The landscaping is gorgeous, the rooms were unique and private, and the wine hour was a blast :) We will absolutely be back again very soon and recommend The Beaufort House Inn to anyone who wants to get away from everyday life!!!

My husband and I spent our 1st anniversary in Asheville to visit the Biltmore and arts. We came across the Beaufort House Inn with it's fabulous reviews and just had to check it out.
The house is in immaculate condition! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our first few nights be stayed on the Terrace level which we should have chosen another room. There were a few reviews about the noise from the above kitchen - we are not light sleeps so we ignored the warning. Warning - the noise is loud and not only early in the morning while preparing breakfast - throughout the night as well when people walk up and down the stairs. They were kind enough to relocate us to the Main House Arbor room, which we loved and will stay in again!
The Arbor room has an adjoining private patio which is wonderful if you are traveling with friends and family and need the additional private space.
Breakfast was TO DIE FOR!!!! If you have dietary restrictions or special requests they can cater to your every need. My favorite were the waffles with fresh fruit.
A nice touch is the gourmet coffee, tea's, and cookies that are available all day. As well as the Aveda bath products. You can really tell the owners go the extra mile to add the plush feel to even the simplest things.
Evening wine time is a great time to have GREAT wines and meet with the owners and other visitors. This is where we learned of the fabulous places to eat downtown.
I will definitely be staying here again and hopefully bringing a gang of people!!!
For a few neighborhood suggestions - if you love sushi you have to eat at Wasabi! Also, the Lobster House (I think that was the name) was great too! There is an open market artist venue a few doors down where you can buy amazing art.

Absolutely recommended. The Beaufort House is a great place to stay. Chris, Jim, Erica and Rhianna could not have been nicer, friendlier or more helpful. The House is a beautiful, warm and inviting home, a place to relax. The rooms are well furnished, clean and comfortable, the breakfast excellent, and and the whole experience perfect. We wish we had planned more time at the House and Asheville.

We have stayed at many B and Bs, but never have I felt more at home than at Buaufort House Inn. The accomodations and food are wonderful, but what makes it stand out from other B and Bs is an attitude of authentic hospitality communicated by the entire staff. Guests respond by relaxing into an atmosphere that promotes interesting interaction around a glass of wine or the breakfast table. Our experience was enriched by sharing talk about lives as well as Asheville activites.

I often don't like B&Bs because you have to share bathrooms and sometimes they are the worse for wear with awkward rooms ( substitute quaint here). The Beaufort House was a treat. The photos on the web-page don't lie. Great rooms with lots of natural light. We were there when the dogwood and other early spring foliage were just popping, just sitting on the porch was a treat. Chris and Jim were great hosts serving up satisfying breakfasts and a wine happy hour.

The Beaufort House Inn. was everything we were looking for and more! It made our trip one we will never forget. The hospitality, the service, the house, the food, and the over all experience was incredible! We have been to other B&Bs before, but the Beaufort House Inn. definitley takes the cake. If you are going to be in or anywhere near the Asheville area and trying to figure out what is the best way to go- the Beaufort House Inn is your answer!
