We had a great stay at the Grove Park in this weekend! We were celebrating our 8th anniversary and will never forget the experience we had. I have to say that the highlight of our stay was dinner at VUE 1913. It was amazing to say the least. We had the chef's 6 course meal. Wow! What an experience of unique and wonderful flavors. The whole restaurant staff was great but our waitress, Cheri was the cherry on top! She described each dish so perfectly and was a real treat through the entire meal. We a can not express what a wonderful time we had. We will return to the Grove Park Inn for years to come!

Thank you so much for choosing to spend your 8th anniversary with us! We were so glad to learn that you enjoyed our Chef's 6-course menu option at Vue 1913 and how our staff made your visit even more special. We have passed along your accolade to the employee mentioned who is very appreciative as well. We hope to welcome you back someday.

Excellent accomodations and dining experience. My wife enjoyed the Spa. We were upgraded to the concierge level for very little upcharge. Views were beautiful and staff very friendly. The golf course was a little stale and even with a conference discount a little pricey, but fine for a conference break. The resturant options offered good variety.

The Grove Park Inn is an amazing historic hotel and will not disappoint. You will be impressed with the outstanding service from the moment you step onto the property with everyone from the valet, to the bellman, to the wait staff being overly friendly and accommodating. The Inn offers a wide range of activities including the luxurious spa, golf and a wide range of places to relax and enjoy the view. The restaurants also offer a good variety from small plates and snacks at Edison's to a upscale restaurant, The Vue, and all were very good. While the Inn is pricey, I do think the services and view make up for the cost. A must see while visiting Asheville.

Was a wonderful first stay for my husband and my 50th birthday, and you treated our handicapped dog like a king, which we are very grateful. <3 Would like to point out wonderful people who made us feel so at home, who I remember their names, Becky Roberts at the concierge desk, and Betsy Longoria, who both made us feel like family though we had never met them. There were several bellmen in the front entrance that I really wish I could remember their names that were wonderful also, and showed kindnesses to our Max dog always had a treat for him. I just remember a quote that stands out, "people may not remember what you did, but they remember how they made you feel", I felt very welcome and at home at the Grove Park Inn. Thank you all for making our 50th birthday trip so wonderful!

We were overjoyed to learn that our staff was helpful and friendly to your family, including Max the dog. We have recognized the associates you mentioned who are very grateful for your comments and mentioned how sweet Max was. I love the Grove Park Inn and everything about it except the rooms. I understand it is an old hotel but it is just a plain basic room not is special about it but the spa and dinning is fantastic. the best spa I have ever been to.

PLEASE improve the quality of the Blue Ridge brunch. The Sunset Terrace is superb in every aspect. Your staff is very friendly and helpful. Bar experience is no longer enjoyable and the great room atmosphere gone.

We enjoyed our time at Grove Park Inn. Our room was not quite ready when we arrived, so we headed straight to the spa because we had a massage appointment a couple of hours later. The front desk kept our bags for us and delivered them to the room, and our room key was delivered to the spa for us. The spa and massage were relaxing and the staff was accommodating and friendly. We ate dinner from the spa café. The food was good, but not excellent. After the spa we went to our room to get ready to go out. We had a wedding party or some other large group in the room next to us making quite a bit of noise. It didn't bother us because we weren't going to bed anytime soon, but we decided to go ahead and let the front desk know that there was a lot of noise and that we may be calling later if it was still loud when we were trying to sleep. The night manager greeted us and told us he would take care of it. When we went up to bed a few hours later, all was quiet. During the evening we got drinks and appetizers at the Great Hall Bar (hushpuppies and hummus were excellent!), then went to Elaine's to watch the dueling pianos. The service in the Great Hall Bar was fantastic, the service at Elaine's was good as well, although not as friendly as upstairs. We slept very comfortably and loved being able to open our room windows (in mid-July!!) to sleep with fresh air. We love the character and charm of the Grove Park, and the customer service is superb as well.
