Owner description: Relive the Kennedy era in this dynamic combination museum and library, where your visit starts with a short film and then leaves you on your own to explore a series of fascinating exhibits, including the Kennedy-Nixon debate, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the space program, 1960s campaign paraphernalia and displays about Jacqueline and other Kennedy family members. The striking, I.M. Pei-designed building overlooks the water and the Boston skyline.

“Closer look at a beloved family”
Reviewed 15 May 2014

Lots of reading and listening along the way. If a tour group comes along, forget about listening to any of JFK's speeches since the tour guide will drown it out. Didn't notice any earphones at the ticket desk to assist in a personal guided tour.

“Location, Memories, History”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

Mostly very sobering, and certainly a lot of it you will be very familiar with, but some new things, too, that are interesting. Great location, too, so enjoy the outside for a little bit.

Anyone with an interest in Boston/Massachusetts history, US history, the Kennedy's, the 1960s, or any combination of the above should pay a visit to this museum - an exceptional and engaging display of our country's past.

“Exceptionally well done”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

After many trips to Boston we finally visited the Kennedy presidential library for the first time. It was deeply moving for us and our friends since we were teens at the time of his presidency. We were lucky to be there on a day when tours was being given. We started with a film of JFK's early life then proceeded into a chronological walk through his presidency. The exhibits were well done with lots of videos of press conferences, debates, etc. We have nothing but high praise for this presidential library, don't miss it!

“Like a review of your life”
Reviewed 8 May 2014

For those of us in our 60's this wonderful library is like a retrospective of our own history. Much of what you would expect, plus a few surprises.
