We combined this outing with the Boston Common, I wish we had planned more time. The gardens are beautiful, so was the lake and swan boats. We got lucky, we had a nice sunny day. Nothing better! Bring good shoes and water, especially during the summer.

The Boston Public Garden is a beautiful park with many beautiful flowers and trees and also some historical statues. There is a pond with Swan Boats that for a fee you can get a ride in (with numerous other tourists) while the guide pedals you around the pond. Another nice attraction in this park is the "Make Way for Duckling” Statue of Mrs. Mallard followed by her 8 little ducklings (Jack, Kack, Lack, etc- I love that classic children’s story). One of my other favorite things in the park is watching the adorable squirrels that run free within the park.

Its a very pleasant park, with lots of flowers, amazing trees and very well kept by the city. Enjoy the sorroudings and the squirrels that run free all around the park.

Tidy, safe and simple park to wander in the centre of town. Great it been kept, other cities have lusher and larger and more diverse parks. It great Boston has kept this simple park as a excellent retreat from the bustle that surrounds it. .

Was here with study-holiday students and it was a great place to meet. Centrally located so easy to round up.
