“Awesome location, Best beds ever!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 August 2011

The hotel was wonderful. Perfect location, nice staff, clean modern rooms. The beds and bedding were phenomenal. Concierge staff recommended great restaurants. It's a bit pricey, but everything in Boston is. Got a great deal through Priceline name your own price. I would definately stay here again.

Room Tip: Charlie's Sandwich Shop on Columbus has the best breakfasts for a decent price

I would have to agree with a lot of the other reviews, that this is a good hotel with a good location.
Being close to transit , shopping and a grocery store are all very handy.
I found the room to be quite small, but not at all in need of updating.
I found the house keeping staff to be very good.
The pool is good for a city hotel, and although we didn't use it ,the fitness centre looked large and well equiped.

This was my first time to Boston. Hotel was easy to find we used the valet parking, which was so simple! Check in was quick, up to our room in a flash. The room was spacious and very clean. The bedding I would recommend for home use as well it was so comfy. The vending and ice machine were on our floor which made it very convenient. We visited the bar down stairs for cocktails, the staff was very friendly. A friend with us who booked later than we did and the hotel still gave us rooms side by side and connecting, which was very convenient!
There is Dollar Rental car drop off and p/u at this hotel. There is no free shuttle service to and from the hotel but taxi's are ever waiting to assist.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Enjoyed my stay, hotel covered all bases except the Wifi issue. They have free wifi on the first and second floors but that didn't suit my needs as i needed to work. paid about $12 to get internet in my room which i thought was abit steep, oh and worth mentioning (....seems to be the norm in Boston hotels... but worth mentioning) parking I paid $35per 24hrs (not the valet service that was more I believe) Just something to remember when working out cost of hotels in Boston.

Excellent location as reviewed previously but expensive. Even parking at 44$/day was overpriced. As parking downtown is only available in public parking lots, recommend walking and leave your car at public parking next to hotel at 36$. Food available in 2 adjoing malls. Rooms are nice but a bit old fashioned, need remodeling, especially concierge lounge.Recommend for location if you can get a good deal on room rate.

Room Tip: try to get corner room for the excellent view

My son, a college senior, and I have just returned from Boston. We used Priceline, specifying "Back Bay/Copley Square" and were fortunate to be assigned to the Marriott. Our stay there could not have been better. The hotel is a modern high rise that is connected by skywalk to the Prudential Tower shops and the Prudential stop on the T subway system. The area is absolutely safe and comforting for out-of-towners (like us) unfamiliar with the city. Directly across from the hotel is the embarkation point for the Duck Tours, which every tourist will want to do. There are excellent restaurants (including Legal Sea Food) in the Prudential shops and within walking distance. Taxis are always available right at the door. On the hotel's second floor there is a bustling convenience store and Starbucks. When you check in, ask the clerk for a room that overlooks the Charles River. We had excellent views of the sailboats on the Charles as well as MIT. We stayed five nights and felt we needed at least three more to do justice to the city. When we return, it will definitely be to the Marriott Copley Place.

Just across the street from the Amtrak Station, the Marriott Copley Place in Back Bay is an ideal location for business travellers. The hotel is within steps to the Copley Place mall with shops and a supermarket. It was quite an enjoyable walk to the Copley Square and the bustling Boyston Street lined up with restaurants in the evening. Room was clean with comfortable bed but the decor was a bit old fashioned. Tried to book the hotel for other times but price had gone up considerably. Can get better deals at the Fairmont Copley or other brands in downtown.
