It is the location of this hotel that makes it a fantastic hotel. It provides easy access to the Prudential Centre, Copley Place, a 5 minute walk to Newbury Street and about a 20 minute walk to Quincy Market.

The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious with the high level rooms having great views no matter the side of the hotel.

The only complaint I have is that although free wifi is available in the public areas, should you wish to access the internet in your room the rate is $12 per day!

Stayed with a group of friends on a recent trip and had a good experience. The location is a great area of the city--walkable to the river and all tourist sites. Also would be great for business, I imagine, as it's attached to the convention center complex & mall. We found it to be very convenient on a rainy afternoon! The gym and hot tub are nice as well. My only complaint is that the rooms were "OK"--very cookie-cutter hotel rooms. The fan in the bathroom also didn't work during our trip, which I realize is an extremely minor complaint to be making. Overall I'd pick this hotel again as you know what you're getting and the location is fantastic.

Room Tip: high floors have great views of the city

We stay at the Copley place Marriott twice a year, once for business and once for pleasure. The location is great- easy access to almost everything you need, either by walking or subway. We usually get a high room on the river view side and it is absolutely beautiful. on July 4th , it is a special treat to be able to see fireworks for miles and miles around- very cool! my ongoing forever complaint is the Elevator situation- this has been going on for years at this hotel and is just ridiculous. The entire stay there were only 2 of 6 elevators operating for the upper floors- and usually only one of those two was running. At busy times of the day, check in, check out etc, forget it, you will be waiting at least 20-30 minutes, and when the door does open, it will be packed full and you will wait again. There has been a big sign next to the elevators for years promising that they are working on improving them- lies.... it hasn't happened. It is obviously not stopped us from returning, but is the only black mark on an otherwise great hotel experience.

Room Tip: get a river view room on a higher level- beautiful!

This hotel is situated in the city centre with easy access to the major sightseeing attractions of Boston. The hotel is usually busy and the wait for an elevator can be long even though there are many.
Champions Restaurant and Starbucks are on the second floor. Also on the second floor is a Fed Ex office which doubles as the hotel's Business Centre, charges may apply even though the 'Guest Services Directory' indicates, "complimentary".
Front desk staff is 'hit and miss', some helpful, some not so much.
Two shopping centres are connected to the hotel, one fairly trendy, the other more "for the masses". Numerous restaurants close by including Five Napkins and The Cheesecake Factory.

Perfect Boston location. Steps from Newbury Street, the Copley (Green Line) T-stop, Prudential and Copley Shops, Boylston Street, and so much more!

The staff at the front desk was great and we had a no-hassle check-in. Also they informed us that we could print our boarding passes right in the lobby which was a breeze.

The room was modern and clean. It came equipped with a refrigerator and a safe. There was a choice to buy wi-fi or use an access code. We didn't need it so didn't ask about a code- not sure if it was included. The only negative comment was the price of the breakfast buffet in Champions which is attached to the hotel. We opted to take the very short walk through the Copley shops to Au Bon Pan. So, at least you have options.

A perfect place to stay in Boston!

It is the typical Marriott format. The rooms are getting a little dated. It is a big hotel and waits for the elevator can be very long. We waited 20 minutes one time which is ridiculous. The hotel staff is hit and miss. Some are very helpful and some should get out of the service business. The location is excellent and close to everything. I would recommend a smaller hotel.
