I really cannot add too much to all the other great reviews, except to say Thank you to this hotel and its staff. First off we used Marriott points to stay for our Anniversary. This can be dicey, sometimes you get the worst room cause your not paying. ( a real slap considering that's how we accumulated the points by staying there). Not so here. We had the nicest woman at the front desk search for a nice room with a comfy King bed for us. She was the most pleasant person I have ever encountered at a check in and what Marriott should strive for from every employee. Too bad I didn't get her name but the badges are small and her's was turned away from me. No complaints, everyone was great that we dealt with. The room did have a funny odor but once you were in there you didn't really notice it too much. Great location to reach so many tourist things and so many great restaurants in the area!! Would highly recommend you gather your points and head to the city.

Spent about a week there earlier this month: great location for walking all around the Freedom Trail, North End, waterfront, etc. Easy mass transit access to other areas of the city.

From the front door staff (Jim & Mike) to the front desk, to the bar (Barry & Paul), to the concierge lounge breakfast (David & Toya), we enjoyed every interaction with the Long Wharf team.

Great location: love the 3rd floor deck overlooking the wharf! Loved walking to Fanueil Hall and the North End.

Would return for business or pleasure in a heartbeat!

Room Tip: Corner rooms with 2 beds are ideal for families: we used the sleeper sofa and added a rollaway twin...

Dear TeamLukac – I appreciate the review. Thanks for naming some of the extraordinary contributors from our team. I will be happy to share your review with them as well as the rest of our staff here at Long Wharf. The 3rd floor pool deck is one of Boston’s best kept secrets. Thanks for mentioning it. It is also free to all Hotel guests, this year we started food and beverage service to make it even more special.

While the hotel was pricey, the location was very convenient, although it wasn't in the heart of Downtown. The service and accommodation I received here was exceptional; almost every staff member went above & beyond to make sure my stay was a comfortable one. If you're looking for a view, you won't really get one because the building itself is only about 4-5 stories. We had a second floor room with a bad view of the park in the back, which wasn't ideal, but nevertheless, still a comfortable stay. Not many useful amenities on site (like slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, cotton swabs), but they will be more than happy to bring them to you. Really clean hotel as well. The highlight was a friend and I leaving some things behind and security unhesitatingly shipped our things back to us and we more than patient throughout the process.

Pricey, but proximate to some tourist sites--Long Wharf, Boston Aquarium, Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall, and subway station is right in front of the main entrance.

The Boston Marriott Long Wharf is the perfect location for those vacationing in Boston. Its proximity to the Freedom trail and many historic landmarks make it ideal for those not renting a vehicle. Public transportation is available for shopping, dining and visiting universities. The moment you arrive at the Marriott you are greeted by a knowledgeable and hospitable doorman. The lobby was elegantly decorated and offers all the amenities you would find at home and more. The restaurant had a modern décor and offers wide variety of menu choices. Each one was just as delicious as the next. Our room was impeccable and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable and we look forward to returning to our room each night. Other amenities included an expansive fitness center with an indoor pool that can be used year round. The hotel also offers great views of the city and harbor. We truly look forward to returning to Boston and will only stay at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf.

Dear Michael T – Thanks for the awesome review and I appreciate your patronage. We have worked hard to redesign the menu in Waterline and I am thrilled that you loved everything you ordered. New menu will be switched in this fall, but we will typically keep the most popular items on it year round. See you soon hopefully.

We returned to this perfectly located hotel after many years. It is still a great place for the Boston tourist to stay. Extensively remodeled since our last visit the vast lobby encompasses a comfortable bar, good restaurant and lots of comfortable and quiet spaces. Guest rooms are adequate and very comfortable beds but bathrooms a little cramped. Restaurant serves an extensive breakfast buffet with an attentive and cheerful staff. The best feature of this hotel besides its excellent creature comforts is its proximity to the harbor, Aquarium,Freedom trail, Columbus Park, Ducky tours and all that any tourist requires. A great place for all ages and generally worth the hefty price

Room Tip: Front rooms may be quitter than back especially at weekends

We thought we reserved a king bed room and got two queens. They said out reservation did not guarantee a king. They were very nice about it and changed us to a king. Room was very nice and contemporary. Breakfast was $60 for the two of us and average food. Very nice location on the waterfront. Close to Faneuil Hall Market Place and the Aquarium.

Dear Baconlovers - Thanks for your review and for staying with us. Typically Marriott only reserved “run of house” accommodations (either 2 queens of 1 king) to not over promise and under deliver. To increase the chances of getting the specific room category you desire, feel free to contact the Hotel directly and see if you can confirm the room type prior to arrival. We are always happy to help if we can, and this is a fairly routine request that our team handles. Hope to see you back at Long Wharf soon.

Traveling with my parents who are in their 70's and my dad is handicapped. I got help from Amy who helped me rent a wheelchair from the nicest place in town (Gary Drug). Everyone at the hotel was super nice and helpful to us. I really appreciated one of the managers Nini (hope I spelled that right) who helped me fix a problem that I had been concerned about immediately. Traveling with handicapped travelers is hard and with the cost of airfare and hotels these days you really hope and pray for a memorable trip with few troubles. The Marriott Long Warf helped make this a special trip for our family. People like Amy, Nini, Jaime and Bobby along with our housekeeping crew who always said hello and how are you - our trip was very memorable. Thank you.
