“Great Location”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

My wife and I stayed at Copley Square Hotel on a recent trip to Boston. It is in a great location and we felt like we were right in the middle of the action. We had easy access to Dining, pubs and attractions in the Copley Square area. We even walked to Fenway for a game. For those locations that needed it, we were able to easily hail a taxi. The staff was very courteous as well. The only draw back was that there was quite a lot of traffic noise, even on the third floor where we stayed.

We spent 3 nights there: location is central, very close to touristic locations (Boston is easy to visit just walking). Just around the corner there are a couple of streets full of nice and good restaurants and shops! Hotel is recently refurbished, with an elegant lobby and lounge. Room was cozy but bathroom a bit small. Best thing is the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff: congratulations!!

Having four children and traveling can be challenging to find an affordable but higher end hotel. Copley square offered us the perfect solution! They have a family suite that offers two completely separate king bed rooms, each include their own chaise lounge, desk/chair/closet and tv. When we arrived, we were greeted by ultra friendly valet, bellman, concierge and desk clerk. They directed my children to an adorable credenza stocked with fresh water, lemonade and candy in old fashioned glass jars. They all made us feel welcomed and comfortable (some hotels see a family with several small children and don't seem thrilled). The lobby was beautifully decorated and every detail was well thought out. There are two elevators and an easy staircase if you prefer. For a city hotel, we found each king bedroom very specious. The tray ceilings, chandeliers, down comforters, high end furniture were just lovely. The bathroom a tad small but included a full bathtub which was a bonus! Every employee we encountered during our stay was worthy of praise. Thank you for a perfect experience!

I just got back from four nights at the Copley Square Hotel and I had an amazing time! The staff here was amazing from Jeff at the valet to Keith at the front desk. They helped us out and offered us advice on places to visit constantly they were great! This hotel is a wonderful boutique hotel. The rooms are a bit small but they're big enough and you only go in there to sleep anyways. Loved this hotel and Boston!! Can't wait to go back to Boston and stay at the Copley Square!

Room Tip: I had a queen size bed room perhaps a king size bed room is a bigger room.

Reviewing the Copley while still here in the huge comfy bed. This place is great! Wonderfully attentive staff. Decor is lovely, modern and fresh.
Great value for money and location is unbeatable. We have walked everywhere. Will stay here when I next visit Boston for sure and recommend others do the same.

This was my first time in Boston. My stay at the Copley was great. I would stay here again. I would also recommend this hotel to my friends and family. I stayed on the fifth floor in a deluxe king room. Had a nice view of Huntington St. and Copley Square. The guys on the front desk were very helpful. This hotel was located in walking distance to everything. Not to far from Fenway and good shopping areas.

Room Tip: I was on the fifth floor and overlooked one main street. The only thing I heard was sirens from pol...

Arrived earlier this week for a 4 night stay. Booked a king room through a third party site, which we thought was worth the extra money per night based on reviews bemoaning the small rooms. Check in was smooth and even though we arrived a few hours before the official check in time, our room was ready, or so we thought. So tired from our journey and anxious to start our vacation, we didn't notice when we first got to the room that it was a queen, not king, bed. We were also so distracted by how small the room was! The bathroom was impossible to maneuver in and we stubbed our toes several times on the desk and chair that took up far too much space. The next morning we alerted the front desk to the room error and after first stating that their system said we ordered a queen room, they realized the system was wrong and said we'd be moved to the room we paid for and they would move our belongings and call us when the room was ready, which was very nice as the room was not ready until 3PM and would have put a damper on the day waiting around to be moved. When we went back to the hotel to get our new keys, we were surprised to find out we had been upgraded for the inconvenience to a deluxe king room. Very nice touch and a very nice room. About double the size of our first room. There was even a fireplace under the tv, though not sure if it even works, and a view of Huntington Street. The bathroom, however, was still a bit cramped and the glass door of the shower hit the toilet every time it opened.

Despite the initial snafu over our room, it was overall a wonderful stay. Never had an issue with the staff who always welcomed us back and told us to have a great day when we left. Free wifi always worked and while we didn't take part in the free wine during the week, the free coffee was very good. Would stay again if the price is right as the size of even the most deluxe rooms and bathrooms cannot justify the rates charged on their website.

Room Tip: High floors help block out the street noise, and get as large/upgraded room as possible if you'r...
