Did not like the room. Pillow were horrible. Couldn't close the window curtain without force. The TV chanels looked horrible. I could hear all the noise outside the door. Could not rest well. The hotel needs to invest in sound proff doors. Spend money on some real pillows. And make sure you can close the curtains with ease.

Room Tip: Put real pillow on the bed. The bed had the worst pillows. Felt like the pillow case was stuffed with cheap cotton balls

Dear 1evelynsanchez,

We appreciate this review as it helps us to discover what is most loved about our hotel and how we might have elevated your experience even further. While many guests describe our hotel as the perfect escape in the heart of this vibrant city, we regret that this does not seem to be your experience. Although we trust that our colleagues were more than happy to assist with helping you feel more comfortable during the stay, we are disheartened to learn that the details you have described here left such a lasting impression. It is our hope that you might consider visiting us again in the months ahead, as we would truly love nothing more than the opportunity to capture your heart in full.

Intuitively Yours,

The staff at the hotel were very friendly. The rooms we had were nice but my bathroom was tiny.. I've never seen anything so small.. the shower door touched the toilet when open.. it resembled a closet.. other than that the hotel was well located but a good 20min walk to the harbour.

Bathroom was way too small. The room also had too much furniture for it's size which made it feel smaller. They could do with a mini fridge in the rooms.

Overall a lovely hotel. Would stay again.

Dear Nicola,

Our colleagues are quite well known for their warmth and genuine hospitality and we are elated to learn that you felt welcomed from the moment you entered our front doors. While we are happy that you so greatly enjoyed our central location and the charming decor of our hotel, we regret that there were some details of your accommodation which fell below expectations. It is our hope that you might consider joining us again in the months ahead, as we would truly love nothing more than the opportunity to welcome you again and win your heart in full.

Fabulous hotel in a great location. Large comfortable bed and modern quiet room. Its the little extras that make this a better quality hotel. We were staying a week, so requested a fridge which was brought up on the first night. We also requested a later check out than normal as we had a later flight and they kindly obliged. They also have free tea and coffee in the morning, free home made lemonade in the afternoon and free wine between 5pm amd 6pm. There is also an excellent supermarket next door for convenience. We had a lovely holiday thanks to this great hotel and lovely friendly staff.

Dear MrMrsHappyR,

It was a pleasure to have hosted you during your recent visit to our Back Bay location and we thank you for sharing a review that so wonderfully captures the experience that we hope all of our guests are able to enjoy. We truly believe that it is all in the details and as you noted, we loved offering guests those little extra touches to make their stay more memorable. Rooms are dark and dreary as is front area downstairs. It has tried to merge a grand central staircase with bad modern design throughout. It was immediately unpleasant and rather weird. Ugly animal pictures over two small arrival desks. The elevators are so slow and one of the two has such a narrow door you can hardly get into the space especially with a suitcase.

This hotel is excellent. The rooms were great, so quiet and comfortable. I have to mention the curtains were the darkest I have ever experienced, when closed you wouldn't know it was daytime. The windows were double glazed so you could not hear any noise from outside. We slept really well here. The location is so good too. There are cafes and restaurants very close (heaps within 5-10 minutes walk). You can walk easily to Boston Common, a beautiful park, and the start of the freedom trail. It is also only a 20 minute walk to Fenway Park. I recommend this hotel highly.
