We stayed the nights of July 3- July 6
This hotel was pretty easy to locate. There is a parking garage right next store with decently priced SELF parking. Valet is too expensive.
One thing we didn't like was that you can't use a luggage cart and take up your own luggage. We had to have a bellman do it. This was a pain because we didn't want to be stuck waiting a long time for our stuff. We were lucky we only had to wait about 15 min after getting to the room.
Also when checking in the room didn't have a fridge, as I requested one. So one was brought up right away. Also we ended up not being charged extra for it like I was quoted. The rate was good for one king bed room, about 165 gov't rate. The AAA rate was slightly higher for that time frame.
The bed was VERY comfortable. We could have slept until noon if time allowed. There were hardly enough towels though. We were able to manage without having to call for more. The tub/shower was roomy and there was plenty of counter space in the bathroom.
There were also robes in the closet.
A mini bar was also located in the room. DON'T TOUCH THESE. Its motion sensor so even if you move something you will be charged $6 for a bag of M&Ms! We just kept it closed.
We had no problem with noise except for a couple kids in the hall above us but they were quiet after 9.
The pool area is decent. There is also an outside balcony by it. The locker-rooms by the pool are nice and have a sauna and steam room and showers.
The hotel looked like it was in a shady area at first but after walking around we had no problems feeling safe. There are a bunch of stores about a block over as well as a couple T stops within 5 min walking. The Boston Common is just a block over along with the freedom trail. This was a good hotel in a pretty central location. Its probably about a 15/20 min walk to Quincy market.
