My girlfriends and I went on a road trip and we were in Boston for three days and two nights. We stayed at the Fairmont at the Copley Plaza and it was a great location being at the center of most things. Situated right at the Copley Plaza so just sitting outside looking at the beautiful tulips was so relaxing. It is also beside the National Library, walking distance to Newbury Street, Cheers Bar at Beacon Hill and the Boston Common which is the beginning of the Freedom Trail.
I have stayed in several Fairmont Hotels but this by far was the most beautiful. The facade, the interior, the intricate moldings and chandeliers in the lobby are impressive. You will feel the history of Boston as you walk in the hotel.
The staff was very friendly and the concierge recommended restaurants like the The Gallows which was so good! (Another review for that one!)
The room was spacious and kept clean. The gym was a bit small but it was never full so it was ok.
And the dog Caitlyn was a nice addition in the lobby.
I will definitely stay here again!More
