It was my fourth time back at this hotel (gold floor, the best!) and every time it surprises me with its excellence! The room was pure luxury, with all the state of the art facilities, food was really good from breakfast to evening canapés and I really appreciate the all day coffee and cookies available.
But what makes the real difference are the amazing people who work there, They remember you after months, they greet you, welcome you back and help you out in any way they can making your stay an unforgettable one with the perfect mix of luxury and warmth. I was travelling solo and they made me feel at home, thanks to you all.

Stayed here for three nights. Grand elegant hotel, the entrance hall is stunning, spacious rooms, excellent location, good service, no complaints. It is an excellent place to stay when visiting Boston. If you want to have breakfast, book a package because prices are high when you have to order separately at the Oak room. If not, we had an excellent breakfast at Trident Bookshop and Cafe nearby (it is 3 blocks though). We had our foldable bikes with us which was very convenient and the concierge was very helpful with storing them every evening. Parking is pricey... 42$ a night for Valet parking. The house dog, Catie Copley, added extra charm to our stay and our daughters really enjoyed that.

I recently stayed here 1 night and so appreciate the attentiveness of the staff. My bag was delayed from the airport (I can't say I am a big fan of US Airways delivery service; took 11 hours to get a bag from its arrival in Boston to a hotel not that far from Logan), but the staff at the hotel was amazingly considerate and provided all the help and necessities, even before I would think to ask for it. Plus a cute doggie in the lobby, what a great place! Rooms were nice, very soundproof, very wonderful.

If you're looking for hip and trendy, this hotel is NOT for you. It is instead a classic hotel that sends you back in time with its elegance and charm. I stayed here for about a week for work and did not want to leave. The rooms are comfortable, clean and the service is fantastic. I normally find room service to be bland, but the room service here was sublime (tho a bit pricey!). If you're up early, try their oatmeal!

Stayed here 3 nights prior to cruising up to Canada. What kind of hotel in America doesn't have complimentary tea and coffee making facilities? Unless you want to pay room service prices you must trawl downstairs to make one yourself in a plastic cup and then trawl all the way back upstairs to the room. A very expensive hotel and certainly not worth the money

I stayed a few days on a business trip. Good Hotel in a good location. Large room and bathroom (although with no great views). Loved the breakfast room in old Bostonian style. Wood everywhere, quiet and relaxing. Wonderful eggs and attention to dietary needs. The hotel bar is also very pleasant. I would definately choose this hotel again for another visit to Boston.

I stayed in the hotel with my friends for my birthday. We were five girls who put in the extra effort to make sure we didn't stand out but because we were young almost all the employees were rude and unwelcoming to us. We were waiting in the Oak Room Bar for 20 minutes while the servers and managers looked us over and checked and rechecked our legal id's. They took so long that we took it upon ourselves to take our business elsewhere.Reception wasn't very helpful either, they made us seem like a burden to them. In fact, the only polite people in the hotel were the doormen, valet, and the maintenance man who fixed our broken shower.
Over all the hotel is beautiful and the rooms were well kept but the lack of hospitality of the staff is a real turn off especially if you are paying that much for a room. I will never return to that hotel.
