I really enjoyed my stay at Veronica's B&B. The location is super, next to the T and within walking distance to Back-Bay, South End and Downtown. Jose and Dominic are very friendly, they offer a nice breakfast. Truly a value for price choice. I recommend it without hesitation and I'll be coming back for sure.

Room Tip: I stayed at room 5, a spacious, clean and very comfortable place.

My husband and I stayed for three nights at Verona's B & B. The location was very convenient to historic sites, transportation, restaurants, and shopping. The B & B was clean, comfortable, and provided updated furnishings. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We would highly recommend it and would stay there again.

Room Tip: Reserve your room early to get a lower floor room, because the stairs are steep and there is no elev...

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at Verona's B&B on Chandler Street, which was the perfect location for our visit to Boston. Our daughter lives and works in the area so we were able to join her for dinner, then walk to her apt afterwards without feeling threatened in this busy neighborhood. We had a rental car the first night and host was very helpful in pointing us to free parking on the street. The guest room was quiet & charming with a private bath and kitchenette, decent TV and plenty of storage. We were on the third floor and, with no elevator, we appreciated the host's help to carry our bags to the room when we arrived. Breakfast was on the 4th floor with pleasant company of other guests (none from the States) and the host. We plan to return on our next visit to Boston as the rates, location, safety and service were beyond our expectations. Lots of good eateries and convenient to shopping, the T and walking distance to Boston sites.

Room Tip: Room #6 (third floor location) has a lovely bow window and, despite being on the street side, was q...

Situated on a quiet, tree-lined street within two blocks of a subway station, this converted Civil War era residence offers comfortable rooms in central Boston. We arrived on a morning flight with the confidence that a convenient lock box would guarantee access to drop off our luggage even if no one happened to be around. We stayed in Room #5 on the third floor (there are four levels up and one down from the street), which has tall ceilings, wood floor, period fireplace, queen bed, A/C unit in the lower portion of one of the two windows, ceiling fan, baseboard heat and electric radiator, private bathroom with toilet, shower (great water pressure and hot water) and sink, table and chairs (strong wi-fi signal), flat screen TV with cable, dresser, clothes closet, kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, sink, dishes & cutlery, etc., and lots of nice touches like tissues, soaps and flowers. The owner clearly takes pride in this property and the few minor repairs it needs are surely on the to-do list (e.g.- remount ceiling fan, replace shower knob, change A/C baffle). Continental breakfast is served on the top floor at 9am and comprises fresh fruit salad, cereal, toasted bread, coffee, orange juice, and good company! We sure enjoyed our stay, would gladly return on a future trip and won't hesitate to recommend it to others interested in more than a boring hotel room.

Room Tip: See review for description of room #5, which is off-street and relatively quiet.

We stayed for about one week at Verona's B & B. Very comfortable and nice location. Well equipped and extremely friendly hosts. We loved the stay. Just had some issues taking the luggage 3 floors up.
Will always return to the same.

Room Tip: Choose rooms on the lower floors if you have a lot of luggage to carry. Otherwise all rooms are very...
