The Lenox Hotel was extremely accommodating during our weekend stay. I can't speak highly enough for the front desk and concierge staff, as they were always attentive and willing to help provide suggestions and T stop routes. Also, the beds in the hotel as very comfortable. This hotel is in the prime locate for tourists to get around and see the sites!

location is perfect .. right on the main street for shopping and restaurants with a metro stop within 3 min. walking distance .. the hotel is about a 25 min. taxi ride from logan airport and costs ~USD 25 one-way ..

a big room, a complimentary snack box (one-time upon arrival) and daily bottles of water + complimentary morning coffee/tea/bananas and afternoon cold drink/small cakes (on the day i was actually there to see) in the lobby + complimentary wifi (i wouldn't have stayed here if it was additional - i have now banned hotels that make u pay extra for wi-fi) ..

nice big room with a bit of a view .. 2 queen size beds which were comfy enough albeit a bit hard for my back - but that is personal .. turn-down service with lindt chocolates offered ;-)

our package was without breakfast, but we did go in-house on the first day which came to ~USD 30 for 2 p. + tip so we didn't go again .. the food was ok, but not good enough for the price paid .. plenty of other (cheaper) options right outside the hotel !

the gym is small and in the basement with a small window, but adequate, towels availabe on-site, but no water fountain (maybe an idea?) .. i forgot my bottle in my room, so my work-out was shorter than planned, due to no water ..

they offer free usage of their computer, printer (business center) for flight check-ins, etc. which is a nice touch (some crazy hotels want u to pay for this service) !

the concierge was helpful in getting us a table at the resto deuxave (do urself a favour and eat there (see my review of it) - it is simply amazing food) !! - all the staff at the hotel were friendly and polite .. we didn't try the bar ..

tiny negatives :

housekeeping was quite loud in the corridor and before 8 am which i consider too early - i did ask them to lower their speaking amongst themselves but u shouldn't need to have to ask in a 4* ..

it's an old hotel, so a bit of noise issues between rooms and slow lifts at times, but nothing that ruined our stay ..

however the bathroom did not have enough space to hang, place our products and things .. a square meter more and shelves around the wash basin (take it off the size of the huge room) would have been prefered .. and an in-room kettle + coffee and tea would have been nice too ..

i did not like their signature ambiance perfume (check out that of abercrombie) .. LOL

overall a very good stay - a later check-out would have been appreciated but it wasn't available as they were fully booked, but they kept our luggage free-of charge (yes some hotels do charge) .. i can't compare to any other boston hotels as i haven't stayed in any .. but at USD 275.- per night excl. tax, excl. breakfast rather on the dearer side but i guess that is boston in summer ..

p.s. we loved boston ..

After 3 cities, 3 hotels, 3 disappointments, I arrived at the Lenox with an instant sigh of relief. The lobby even feels comforting and smells great. The shampoo and soaps are from l'Occitane so after a nice shower I was in a robe looking out my window to the best view of Boston eating a Lindt truffle left on my pillow. Once I was ready to hit the town, the staff was unbelievably helpful from making dinner reservations to helping me print tickets to opening the door with a smile. I wanted something different than average chain hotel and I got it at the Lenox. This boutique style hotel had a great price for all that you get. Had a problem with the TV, they sent someone up within three minutes. Problem the only bad thing was that beautiful large chandler style light over the bed rattled all night. But we kept the air purifier on to drowned out the sound and it was fine.

Room Tip: Not sure about other floors but the view from the 11th(top) floor was awesome

I just spent 2 nights at the Lenox hotel and it was a wonderful stay. The hotel takes you back to the days of elegance. The lobby is a great place to sit and relax, people watch and smell the beautiful aroma that wafts around. All the staff are very pleasant and attentive. The bar and restaurant are very good too. Situated in the Back Bay area the hotel is in a great location for wandering about and is also near a subway station. Thank you to everyone for making my stay a very relaxing and enjoyable one. I will definitely stay here again.

Although I went to school in Boston, my husband had never been, so there were many places we wanted to see for our visit.. The Lenox hotel is great for many reasons. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are well appointed, and the beds are very comfortable. The service was superb, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Being right near a major T stop (their subway system) in Copley Square made it so easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. Very quick rides to get to Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall, museums, Fenway Park, Boston Garden, etc. Boston is a more expensive place to visit, but staying at The Lenox Hotel is well worth it!

Another great stay at the Lenox. Comfy beds and the most courteous and helpful staff from all hotel employees. Great location in the center of Boston and very reasonable rates. Well done, Lenox Hotel! I will be back every time I will be traveling to Boston.

The Lenox is an excellent hotel in the Back Bay area of Boston. The location is perfect, close to bars, restaurants, pubs, metro stops and Copley Plaza. We went for a college look trip and found the metro an easy commute one block from this hotel. We ate at the Irish Pub downstairs , drinks at the City Bar and all were excellent. Enjoyed the World Cup soccer games from an Irish Pub where fans were nuts, and had so much fun. The hotel staff from bellmen to front desk to concierge were smiling and helpful. It was almost odd that the staff were friendly and eager to help out, I have traveled widely and was very impressed! We were upgraded to a Jr Suite with two queens on the 9TH floor and it was beautiful. There was some street noise but normal for being in the heart of the city. You will not be disappointed!

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor, great views of the city
