Owner description: In a city nearly 400 years old - troubled with war, murderers, strife and the occasional bout of stray molasses, it's hardly any wonder that Boston remains one of the most haunted cities in America. Join us aboard Ghosts & Gravestones and explore Boston’s most chilling haunted places, famous murder sites and spend time with the dead as your tour includes exclusive nighttime access into two of Boston’s oldest burying grounds.

My daughter & I always do ghost tours when we visit new cities. I consider myself a connoisseur of these types of things, actually! New Orleans, Gettysburg, Lancaster, Myrtle Beach, Salem... This was more of a true tourist trap, standard scripted stories. Fiona was our guide. She was wonderful. Extremely enthusiastic. But when we entered the 2nd cemetery we had to join with another trolley tour, which added up to about 50+ people and the man at the 2nd cemetery couldn't be heard & the grave stones couldn't be seen due to crowding. Also he started the stories before the full group got to the next grave. The best part was screaming at the tourists walking down the street lol. Fun to do if you are in Boston, but not if you're looking for something spooky. This was probably the least scary/spooky tour I have ever been on. Quite expensive for what you get.

On behalf of Historic Tours of America, I am so sorry that parts of the tour were too crowded for you to be able to clearly hear the actors and guides. I will certainly relay this to my managers. You can always access our Money Back Guarantee located on our website. Please have a pleasant day!

Great tour! The cast was very entertaining and learned some new interesting facts about Boston. Was fun to see Boston in a different light. If you are looking for something for an evening event this is a great way to go.

We had hoped to do this in the dark because it would have added to the atmosphere but because of scheduling issues, we did it early evening. Interesting commentary by the tour guide in period costume. The actual graveyard tours were the best part of thus for me since it combined some actual history along with stories infused with some folklore. The only downside was no bathroom available and a few in our group would have liked that option.

The Ghost and Gravestones tour was a great night of entertainment thanks to our energetic, humorous, and creepy hosts, Jonathan Goodspeed and Captain Havoc! Full of great information and atmosphere and our bus driver, Lucretia, ably transported us to two historic cemeteries and other notable sites around Boston. It is also good to know that a portion of the ticket proceeds goes to the preservation of these sites. Definitely recommended!
