A lovely atmospheric cocktail and food bar.
We queued for about 20 minutes as a party of two (unbooked) An unbooked party of 6 were to wait an hour and a half for a slot but front of house was honest about timings and it was worth the wait. Front of house was a wonderful chap who informed us of our waiting time then later took us to our seats while being chatty and fun.
In an atmospheric room we found ourselves greeted by a young chap who asked us each what sort of drinks we liked and from this made us a cocktail which was bang on the nose.
I ordered a burger (which came medium rare). As the burger is cooked this way it must be meticulously handled to avoid upset stomachs issues. I trusted the staff to prepare it correctly and was rewarded with the best burger of my trip to Boston. My colleague had the swordfish which was also amazing. Our second cocktail was mixed by a very skilled lady (short dark curly hair) and it was a pleasure to watch her work. From a block of transparent ice about a foot cubed she was crushing, cutting, chopping, sawing and shaking all the drinks at amazing speed.
Watching her work was as fun as the food and drink itself.
Highly recommended if you get the chance. It was a shining star in our visit to Boston.
