Great location, great room, great hosts—definitely the place to stay, and very affordable if you compare to the local hotel room rates—we already plan to stay there again on our next visit to Boston. There's also a great local pub around the block (and the T stop is right there, too): "The Cornwall" for a decent burger and adult beverage.

The owners were very good about knowing how to get around Boston as well as fun things to do. I really enjoyed talking with them.

I had one of the single bed rooms with bath in the hallway. It was fine for me, but if you are modest, it might be a little daunting. They provided a robe for cover up.

The room was a bit warm, but opening the window helped. This caused all the traffic noises to come in my room. Ear plugs are a must if you aren't used to that. With the ear plugs, it was pleasant with the night time breeze through the window.

I had a very pleasant stay here and would do it again.

We just returned from a four day trip to Boston. Can I say we loved this Bed and Breakfast. It was clean, very beautiful, and the room with attached bath was nothing short of roomy, and perfect. The hosts were quintessential northerners. And I mean no disrespect by this comment. The breakfast room was cozy and quaint. The other guest were engaging and charming. And the advice given by the hosts was spot on. We took the ferry (at their advising) to the USS Constitution and walked the Freedom Trail Backward. But I have to confess, when we got to Little Italy the atmosphere was so inviting and fun we got swept up in the festivities and the farmer's market. We are small town (800) people, but we totally fell in love with Boston. Already planning another trip, soon. And we will most likely stay her at Abigayle's.
Thank you for your hospitality and your travel advice. Hope to see you again, soon....

Room Tip: We chose Room 3C. it is very spacious and has a private bath. The owner actually told us it was his...

this b7b is in a great location in kenmore square, steps from the t. it is rather inconspicuous, as there is no sign indicating that it is anything other than a beautiful row house. the room was spacious and comfortable, although the mattress was a bit hard for my taste. the adjoining bath was new and well appointed. the breakfast was adequate.

Room Tip: i stayed in the room on the third floor with an adjoining bath. some rooms have a hall bath.

I stayed in Abigayl’s B&B on vacation with my family. It was a great experience. It is absolutely well located, in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. It is also a walking distance to the subway. It’s easy to reach to any place of interest. Our hosts were kind and helpful. They provided us with maps and directions to optimize our stay. The house was nicely warmed. Excellent, taking into account the cold weather. The rooms were comfy, spacious and very clean. We definitely would like to return some day.

Room Tip: The rooms over the street have the better view.

My title says it all. Beautiful 1895 building, nicely maintained and converted to a B&B, on a quiet street of stately brownstones, 1 short block from shops, the Green Line T and many buses, and walking distance to parts of Boston University. The owners were very available and helped me with directions. It isn't advertised, but I was able to rent a parking spot for a very reasonable price. I solved my only problem - the room was very warm, so I left the window open, and had a delicious night's sleep in a very comfortable bed.

Room Tip: If you are a single traveler, don't be afraid to choose the 3rd floor single room with the dedic...

This past week was at least my third visit, this time with a friend, each occupying single rooms. As others have noted, this place is spotless and the hosts are not only welcoming but ready with information on the best T transfer spots. The location is ideal with plenty of amenities nearby, including a good walk to the MFA or Gardner.

Room Tip: Great light in rooms in front and for Red Sox fans the rear rooms have a view of the iconic Citgo si...
