We were more than pleased with our stay at The Brownstone. Victor and his wife were extremely helpful with the attractions in the area. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. They were able to provide a true Bostonian perspective on all the tourist attractions. Very nice area and minutes to Fenway Park, subway and many restaurants.
Room was clean and had air conditioning. The building is very old but kept up very well. Extremely high ceilings, antique decor and look, large wood doors etc. There is no elevator so there are lots of steps, as you will stay on the third or fourth floor. Continental style breakfast provided plenty of options (fruit, meat, cheese, cereal, breads, waffles, coffee, juice, milk, tea and spreads).
We will definitely stay here again when we return to Boston in a few years.
