“Best bang for your buck!”
Reviewed 28 June 2012 via mobile

I had a great stay here with my boyfriend for three nights. I am a priority club member and they upgraded me to a king suite with no problem... the room was great!!! It was very spacious, had a microwave and fridge and comfy king bed, nice cold AC, a big whirlpool, and it was extremely clean!! I was so happy with my stay! Breakfast was included, and freshly baked cookies were out at 6 PM!

It was about a 6 minute walk to the redline (Andrew station) sometimes the hotel shuttle can drop you off or pick you up but while I was there the shuttle was extremely unreliable so we ended up walking to subway station every time. There was a target very close by which was extremely convenient! The area wasn't too bad either… I will admit that the first day we got there (it was around 3 PM) the area was very sketchy. We got out of the subway station and started walking to the hotel and I can't help but wonder if I would get mugged. But Strangely enough..after that, it was perfectly safe! we took the subway back at midnight and walked back to the hotel and no one was on the streets... very quiet and safe! I would definitely recommend this hotel! It's a great bargain hotel and there are a lot of free perks that most hotels would charge a ton for!

The location for us was excellent since we did not have a car. Target and other shopping next door. The subway entrance was very close but the hotel also provided a shuttle to an from the subway entrance. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices. In the evening, had cookies, coffee, hot tea and cocoa that we enjoyed even though it was June, the weather was cool and rainy during our trip. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and housekeeping was also friendly.

We had only 1 day to visit Boston before heading out to Cape Cod and we wanted to find an affordable hotel close to the city and/or close to public transportation. I was gladly surprised with this hotel. We arrived few hours before check in time but the nice ladies in the front desk let us check in with no extra charge and It didn't take more than 5 minutes! We parked our car and went to visit the city, again...no charge. They were very friendly and helpful, considering that we never been in Boston before. The location is ideal, this hotel has a shuttle that takes you to the Andrew station, departs every 30 minutes but the station is so close that we chosed to walk from the station to the hotel in our way back, it takes around 10 minutes. If you prefer, you can call the hotel and they will pick you up from the Dunkin Donuts next to the station.
Room was very confortable, clean and the bed was perfect! Breakfast was included.
If I would go to Boston again, I stayed at this hotel again...I can't imagine better choice!

Room Tip: If you are in Boston as a tourist, they will have all source of information and maps at the lobby...

Very pleasant hotel for a night - lovely room, good breakfast and friendly staff. There is a shuttle bus to the T (Andrews - red line) or it is a 10 minute walk, Wouldn't fancy it after dark though

I have stayed in the same hotel a year ago and while convenient there was construction work going on at the time. Now a year later and construction just a memory it presents so much better. Staff is very helpful, welcoming and smiling. Sarahi is really the star of the front desk, sometimes stretched a bit beyond her capacity when mending the desk by herself.

A great improvement was the all day and night water fountain and coffee/tea. It is really helpful when you are in Boston on business that you do not have to worry about trivial things like that.

When it comes to the localization, the hotel is within a walking distance from the red line stop of the T at Andrew, so you are just a few stops away from downtown Boston. With the savings on the rooms in the hotel you can afford to spend a bit more on the food or shopping.

The not so great still is the gym facility, size is really a problem and while it is similar to other Holiday Inn Express hotels it would be great to expand it just a little bit to give us some more space to stretch and relax.

Overall, it is worth staying here and enjoying Boston skyline view from the windows.

Room Tip: Higher floors have better views of Boston skyline, ask when booking to have a view towards the city...

Myself and partner stayed here in May 2012 as a late celebration for his 21st birthday, we stayed for 5nights then 5nights of to new york.

On arrival after a long and delayed flight we just hopped in a local cab- lovely guy (its my first time in America-wow they're happy and friendly) he pointed out all the sites and really got us excited for our holiday, on check in the friendliness continued. So polite and gave lots of information on the local area, where to go etc.
Our room was basic but lets face it we're in Boston all we needed was a comfy bed (check) a clean bathroom (check) and a safe (check-there is one at reception with no charge!)
The hotel, when looking on maps appears to be in the middle of nowhere-this isnt the case, its next to a shopping mall with two resturants (Applebys-lovely, and an olive garden but we didnt eat there) There is a metro and bus station within walking distance over a bridge, however there is free shuttle service available from the hotel lobby running on the hour if you time it well.

The price for our hotel included breakfast; this was available daily in the lobby. we went down daily, it included hot fresh pancakes, bacon or sausage (seemed to be on a three day rotation) cheese omelettes, fresh fruit. cerials, yoghurts and also a selection of bread, waffles and bagels for toasting. drinks included teas, coffees and juice.
The tea and coffee was available 24/7 and at 6pm daily they served up complimentary fresh hot cookies.

The staff seem to work extremely long hours yet were always welcoming, and pleasant.
They knew my name and seemed genuine in asking how my day had been.
We couldnt find a fault with the hotel, even when I had the unfortunate experience of breaking my camera, they helped as best as they could and were sympathetic.

Overall, for what you pay for this hotel you get so much more. If we return to boston this is where we would stay again.

We chose this hotel because of its Park N Fly. Great hotel, breakfast and location, but the best was the staff, especially front desk clerks Carol and Sarahi. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone flying out of Logan.
