“A welcome treat in a food court”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 February 2013

Surprised to find authentic Indian food in a food court (Prudential). Had the vegetable curry with nan bread (instead of rice). Very tasty. Seemed expensive ($7.48) but I don't really know prices in Boston as i'm only visiting for a few days. I will return again before I leave.

“Great food also in Quincy Market location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 December 2012 via mobile

Dined here with spouse on recent trip. Split a combo and really enjoyed the flavors of each dish. Chicken was tender and flavorful and had just the right amount of heat to make us sweat, but it wasn't too hot. Palak paneer was also delicious. Look forward to dining here again.

“Delicious Indian Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 November 2012

One of the things I love about big cities is the great food that you can get even in a "fast food" setting. You can find Gourmet India in the Prudential Mall or Quincy Market and it is delicious. We love the green curry and the fresh, huge, hot naan bread to dip it in is wonderful.

“Nice Indian food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 November 2012

I used to visit this outlet in Coolidge Corner every once in a while. I love their food. Although there are many Indian restaurants in Boston, I like the food at Gourmet India better. The staff is always smiling and ready to offer suggestions.

“Surprising good Indian Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 November 2012

We visited during a weekend. We were surprised to see south indian food (masala dosas) available. The food was ok. the naan's were yummy. I liked the food and the price. Good for the money you pay.

Cons- As you can see the chefs from where you stand. I noticed that the chefs were not happy to make the orders and were cooking as if they were forced to do so. That sort of felt bad.
But the food was good
