Brodney Antiques and Jewelry
Ranked #239 of 359 things to do in Boston
Reviewed 7 July 2017

Brodney's has been in the family for 70 years and appeals to the discriminating collector and customer. Service is very personal, professional and friendly. The antiques are mainly estate jewelry, small metal and ceramic pieces, paintings, and other fine art and craft. Many pieces are historic and rare. Many pieces are museum quality, and the prices correspond to the quality. Visiting Brodney's is more like visiting a well curated museum than your typical antique shop. Go here to be amazed, not to find a bargain. If you are financially well endowed, then you will be able to buy something beautiful and unusual. If you are not so fortunate financially, at least you will have enjoyed seeing a large collection of beautiful art, craft, and jewelry for free, with very personable employees.
