“WOW! Just WOW!”
Reviewed 4 September 2013

We have been all over the world but it would be difficult to equate the last two days with our trips to Monte Carlo or Turks and Caicos. This was just such a phenomenal get away! Jon and Karen have such a great understanding of what hospitality truly is. The experience was far better than I expected, site unseen. You can believe what you see on the website. The rooms are well appointed and exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast should not be missed! Sitting on the dock is just....aaaaaahhhh. A $3 ferry into Boston has me questioning whether we will ever stay in Boston Proper again. Great dinner (and wine list) at the Navy Yard Bistro. It was so good we couldn't pass up dining there 2 nights in a row. Wow! Just Wow!

Room Tip: We stayed in the house boat and loved it!

We just returned from our 2nd trip to the Green Turtle and for the 2nd time loved being there. Karen and John are tremendous hosts. They make sure you are comfortable in their lovely Green Turtle Floating Bed and Breakfast. They gave us new tips to help us navigate throughout Boston which was very much appreciated. The Green Turtle itself is lovely, perfectly stocked, immaculately clean, wonderfully comfortable. The breakfasts you receive are perfect, something new and fresh each morning - even the morning they accommodated us before our day trip to Martha's Vineyard - delivered cheerfully at 5:45 AM. (Thank you again) There is no doubt what we would stay again the next time we travel to Boston. Joe and Joscelyn ~ Beaver Falls, PA.

Room Tip: There is no bad choice here. Book it!

The boats are fabulous to stay in for a different kind of stay. The hosts provided many extras such as snacks and kitchen items and anything you would need. They were friendly and accommodating. The boats are do well kept and do much fun. It was great to sit out on the aft deck at night and watch the boats go by and the Boston view. About a 15 min walk to the water shuttle and easy access to trolleys and taxis. All of us loved it and will definetly stay there again, hopefully for more than one night next time.

We spent two nights on the Green Turtle and cannot wait to go back! John meets you at your car with his cart to wheel your bags to the floating B & B... He unloads your bags and explains everything you need to know and more!! Karen and John have done a beautiful job with the decor, the little comforts of home and are truly wonderful hosts! I loved our nights sipping wine in our chairs overlooking the Boston skyline, enjoyed scrumptious breakfasts delivered to our room including eggs Benedict, and truly relaxed the entire time! It was sad to have the cart come out to wheel our bags back to the car! But we shall make this a tradition! Thanks John and Karen for a memorable experience!

It is not cheap but worth every penny. We spent a night while visiting colleges with my daughter and it was a highlight of our summer. The view from the boat is magnificent, we were even treated to an amazing fireworks show. We each had our own bedrooms and bathroom. There was even a faux fireplace. I cannot recommend it enough.

My boyfriend and I had read previous reviews, and we couldn't even describe how great our stay was. Jon and Karen could not have been nicer and more accomodating if they tried. The place is so unique. We sat on the deck and watched the sunset over Boston, and seeing all of the boats and ships go by. Our room was so nice, clean and comfortable. We almost don't want to share with our friends, because we want to keep it to ourselves. It was a blessing to find such an awesome place.

Can you imagine waking up in a most relaxing bed to the sounds of seagulls and distant boats. The gentle sway of a boat on the sea is a wonderful feeling Then open your windows to view the Boston skyline from your boat in the historic Boston Harbour, only minutes away from The US Constitution. Your pre-ordered breakfast will arrive as scheduled to enable you to sit on the dock while you take in the uniquely spectacular views. This is one of the safest locations we have ever stayed at. The hosts will go out of their way to ensure you have a truly remarkable experience. The location is on the Boston Historic walking tour trail. We highly recommend and will certainly return.

Room Tip: The location is wonderfully unique with free parking in a most safe location only a few steps from...
