“Couldn't get any better”

My husband and I just returned from our holiday. we spent 3 nights on the green turtle. I can't express how great Jon and Karen are. I told my son that if I needed a kidney I think Jon and Karen would have done anything to find one for me. The location was great , 5 min on the T and we were in downtown Boston. I loved the uniqueness of the green turtle and the whole environment of the marina. The breakfasts arrived right on time and they were a wonderful way to start the day. The morning of our departure we were leaving quite early and we told them not to worry about breakfast but oh no, they would have none of that. Karen and Jon insisted on delivering our breakfast early and taking our bags and luggage out to our car. We loved watching the planes arrive and depart from the airport. I would highly recommend the Green Turtle. If you ever have the chance to stay there, take Jon and Karen's advice and let them make reservations for you at Rosetti's.

We stayed here July 2nd. It was wonderful. Our hosts, Jon and Karen, were friendly and very accommodating.
Sitting out on the dock was peaceful, though there is noise from Logan Airport. The beds were so comfortable that I did not have any aches when I woke up in the morning. Slept like a baby. I would definitely come back here and stay a little longer. We were there only one night. We used the T to take us into Boston. We were very happy with the rooms. They were clean and well appointed, though we did not spend a lot of time in the room because we were happy to just sit on the dock and enjoy the water. It is a fun and different place to stay. As I mentioned, we would have spent more time. Thanks Jon and Karen for making us feel welcomed.

We had a wonderful stay at the Green Turtle. Karen and Jon are great hosts.the breakfast is delicious, the site is also perfect with view to the skyline of Boston. The Airport is near but it is also near to Boston and is not disturbing. For a City visit, a car is not necessary.(2 stations with the T to the airport and 4-5 in the city). We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful floating boat. As we stayed in Green Turtle 1 we had great sunrise views from the bedside also great sundowners from the deck with view to the skyline of Boston. Thanks Karen and Jon for this outstanding stay at your B&B

From the gentle sway of the water, to the harbor views and sea air, this unique and charming bed and breakfast was truly delightful. Gracious hosts Jon and Karen were lovely and attentive and very welcoming. Little touches such as snacks and cold drinks in our room upon our arrival made us feel extra special. Morning breakfast was delicious (Jon made sure to inquire about our breakfast likes and even what time we would prefer to eat)! I must also mention the bed, as it was surprisingly cozy and extremely comfortable (would happily take that home with me if I could)! Sadly our stay at the Green Turtle was over too quickly. Had there been an available room we would have stayed an extra day! This gem is must for Boston lovers!

Room Tip: All the rooms are dockside, My tip would be to book well well in advance! We booked our July stay i...

We stayed here last year as the first stop of a 2 week holiday in the US. Reviews on Trip Advisor led us to the Green Turtle, and it was all that was promised and more.
From our first contact with Karen and John to our last (thanks for the lift to the airport John!), we found the hosts to be warm, friendly and accommodating.
The location was peaceful, with a lovely view across the bay away from the noise of the city centre, whilst being very close to a free bus service to the centre of Boston.
Breakfast each day was fab! Always fresh, varied, yummy - just a great way to start the day! Rooms were spotless, bed comfy, every thing as it should be. Their high rating on Trip Advisor is certainly well deserved.
The Green Turtle is certainly top of our list for the next time we stay in Boston - worlds apart from a bog standard, boring hotel.

We were fortunate to receive a gift to stay at the Green Turtle Floating B and B. What luck. Terrific hosts, Karen and John, primo location, easy walk to dinner, easy parking, superb hospitality. We enjoyed "docktails", yes, our friend coined a new phrase this weekend, the weather was ideal. The room was pristine, clean, clean, clean and cozy and well appointed. The breakfast was delish. We toured one of the larger boats and will try to stay there with friends and will recommend it to groups. Both the houseboat and the larger boats are perfect for a getaway or a trip to Boston. Can't say enough good things about Karen and John. They know what they are doing, Hospitality plus! We'll be back.

This place was a wonderful find. We spent 2 nights and would have loved to spend longer. The accommodations were lovely. We stayed in Green Turtle 1 and it was impeccable. The bed was very comfortable and the little kitchen area, eating area, closet and bathroom were perfect for however long you want to stay. We were a little concerned about being so close to the airport and it was truly a non-issue. We never lost a wink of sleep and most of the time the wind direction made the planes unnoticeable. The owners, Jon and Karen couldn't have been nicer and were helpful in every way from moving our luggage from the very adequate parking area to our unit and on to helping with directions and suggesting places to eat. The ease of going into Boston was perfect. We were a little apprehensive about the subway, but had no problem at all. They showed us where to park a short distance away (cost $5.00 for the whole day) and we covered a ton of ground by subway and mostly on foot in the city. After looking forward to our visit for quite a while, we were worried about the rainy days we had, but it didn't bother us. There is so much to do and see and when you are through you can return to your cozy home away from home to truly relax. They left snacks and drinks. There was nothing they didn't think of. Two days is not enough. Can't wait to return.
