Description: Post 390 puts a contemporary twist on the traditional tavern experience, with seasonally inspired dishes that reflect Chef Eric Brennan’s passion for fresh ingredients and unforgettable flavors. On the first floor is the Tavern—a casual but sophisticated menu and atmosphere, with a 25-seat bar and high top and banquette seating area, warmed by a beautiful four-sided fireplace. A massive wrought iron staircase connects the energy of the first floor with the Dining Room on the second floor. Here, guests can have a more refined dining experience, and enjoy our large, open kitchen, wine displays, two private dining rooms, additional fireside dining and views of landmarks like Copley Place, Trinity Church and the Hancock Tower. Throughout the entire restaurant, black glazed brick columns and wood slatted walls add an urban edge to the comforting atmosphere. Located in the Clarendon Building, the site of the former Back Bay Post Office Annex, Post 390 is perfectly situated within

We ended our evening at the downstairs bar. Lighting and overall atmosphere were perfect. We had a nice cheese board (good variety) with a martini. Although I didn't have one, the Pear Martini's were very good (my wife and niece each enjoyed one). Friendly and attentive service. I'd like to return and try the dinner menu - maybe next visit to Boston.

Went for brunch on Sunday morning. The food was delicious. They had good options for kids. The mimosas were great. Good place for brunch either in a group.

Our client group and my company team arranged for a social occasion at Post 390, including a happy hour and buffet dinner. The event was held on the 2nd floor and was partitioned from others dining adjacent to our location. It was a comfortable arrangement spacious enough to allow guests to mingle and wait staff to serve, yet intimate for those wishing to engage in more private conversation. Wines and beer were pre-selected and well drinks were also available. The buffet was varied and of high quality with fresh salads, pasta, pulled pork sliders and perfectly prepared roast beef tenderloin. The service was impeccable. Since this was a sponsored group event, I don't know what the rest of the menu looks like, or the price points, but I will go back on my own the next time I visit Boston

You can always take your business peeps here as they are the comfort food capital of bean town. The space is great and the servers are even better.
