5 friends and I stayed at 113 Beacon St, Apt 6front. First off, it was in a great section of Boston. Mostly walking distance to all locations. About 10-15 minute walk to Fanuiel Hall, little longer to the Fenway area. All very nice brownstones on the street with free parking after 6pm Friday. (big plus)

For the location as well as the layout, it definitely beat staying in any hotel. All rooms were nicely appointed with furniture and the bedrooms were above average with hard-wood floors. Overall a good experience.

One big negative...the A/C in the unit is almost non-existant. One night it was ok but as the night progressed, the hotter then entire place got. On Saturday it was well over 75-80 degrees in the apt with both the main central air as well as a floor unit a/c unit. The floor a/c did nothing to cool the main floor, and this with the temperature not getting past 70 degrees during the day. Can't image what the summer months must feel like.

Room Tip: Great place...double check the A/C

April 2014 We stayed at apt R1 a two bedroom utility

What was good - location was incredible - easy to walk everywhere - very safe area - really in the heart of Boston literally a minutes walk from the Park. Good Local shops and restaurants on Charles Street. Space in the living area was good - and the furniture was ok. Kitchen - galley style - but good for what you needed - great fridge.

What could have been improved - Bathroom and main (mezzanine) Bedroom were in desperate need of a paint job and make over. Lighting in the main bedroom was very poor and needs to be improved. Bathroom was old and needs re- tiling and work. Downstairs bedroom was very small it was just the bed - that's it. Although there was an new air con unit - you couldn't really open any window for' fresh air'.

Management company were receptive to issues etc however on the last but one night when there was an awful drain smell in the apartment they didn't return my call and complaint.

I feel that this should have been a better standard for the money paid - it could - with relative little spend - be very good - Finally beds had a plastic cover over the mattress I have marked as Average because the location was really outstanding.

Beautiful brownstone, great location, decent size. Beds were very comfy. Living room was incredibly cramped when the blow up mattress tried to be inflated. At check in the furniture was in disarray but management sent someone to fix it and also gave us our one bedroom apt a night early as there was no pull out couch as promised. Everything worked in the apartment and it was a great place to stay. Will def rent here again.

I stayed with family friends for the weekend and it was wonderful. Modern appliances and tons of beautiful lighting. It's right near the Boston Commons and all of the shops right along there and the building itself is lovely inside and out. Though I admit it was a little hard to maneuver the baby carriage up and down the stairs but that was the only set-back.

Room Tip: Make sure you're with people who can climb stairs easily

If you're a bit of a princess then this probably isn't for you, but if you want to stay in a location that's great for all Boston has to offer and you don't want to pay a fortune then it's certainly worth considering. I would have been happier without the banging from renovation in an adjacent apartment that started at 7-30 every morning, but I guess it got us out of bed nice and early.

This is a 3 BR, 2 BA condo my friends and I rented for 7 nights for about $3200. The location is great. It might've rated four or five BUT...
When we arrived, the AC wasn't working and it was 84 degrees in the condo with no window that opens. Stifling. I called Ferne, the InnBostonReservations property manager, and the repairman did immediately fix it.
However, there were no kitchen towels, no paper towels, and not enough toilet paper--all things provided by owner supposedly. Plus the WIFI was difficult to successfully log into, and if you paused use for even 1 minute, you lost the connection. I emailed Ferne. She replied by giving me a support number for WIFI and said the rest would be taken care of. (Why would we have to call a technical support number for WIFI we didn't own? )
We received 1 roll of paper towel which was delivered while we were out. When I called Ferne a few days later AGAIN for TP, she said nothing could be done that evening. She also said people write emails and sign her name so she wasn't aware we needed any. But this was untrue because she did reference other parts of the email exchange between us so I knew she'd read my notes (sent on different days) saying we still didn't get TP or kitchen towels.
The condo itself was nice except the dining room chair pads were stained, gross, and the chairs were wobbly. One actually fell apart. We were never able to use the TV because there were 3 remotes and no instructions.
We felt for the price, we shouldn't have to be warning each other not to use that chair, calling and emailing the manager for repairs and supplies, or using our precious vacation time shopping for toilet paper and other things that were supposed to be provided. Also, if my phone didn't have 4G, the WIFI issue would've been serious. We couldn't use our other devices. Very disappointing.

Very conveniently located to Copley Square, Freedom Trail and Boylston Street. Food at the two restaurants was very good, the breakfasts were outstanding. I stayed in two queen room, ample space and great nights sleep. Within walking distance to sights, dining, and historic attractions.

Room Tip: Some of the rooms at the top facing the John Hancock building have an ocean view.
