Exelent food and exceptional customer service. I recommend visiting Towne stove and spirits with a party on the larger side but every meal is absolutely remarkable.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal with a college friend. Great and comfortable atmosphere. I had the Monkfish and he had the Chicken Pot Pie. Monkfish won. Someone else in our party had the beer can chicken which looked great.

Just stopped in here specifically for the lobster popovers and it was well worth the detour. They were perfectly cooked with lots of lobster, appeared to be very fresh, and the popover was not at all dense. A drizzle of this super delicious honey syrup on top. Only super-picky recommendation would be too put a tad bit more of the honey syrup b/c it was so good, I wanted more. I asked for a little more on the side but that just didn't do the trick. A glass of their "richer pour" red wine (on tap) to round out the meal. This was interesting - never heard of on tap wine but it was quite nice and smooth, worth trying. Service went from attentive to nonexistent to attentive again; wish they'd told me about the nightly oysters on half shell special before it ended. But overall service was acceptable. Definitely worth trying.

We've been here a few times, and always had a great meal and good service. On this visit, I had the steak frites - the skirt steak was nicely seared on the outside but rare on the inside (perfect!), and the fries were perfect - with just enough juice from the steak and spices to make them delectable. Service was good, attentive but not overbearing. Overall, a great meal and highly recommended if you are in the Prudential / South Station area.

We met some friends here for a Friday lunch. Really good service. Interesting menu - I didn't want to order a tuna sandwich. I tried the house chicken salad (still not very adventurous) - very heavy, greasy, still experiencing it 12 hours later. The accompanying salad was very nice!

Someone at the table ordered French fries with her lunch - like old fashioned French fries. Crispy, not too salty. So good. I would go back just for the fries.
